We first used this to celebrate Christmas Eve with our exchange student, who has raclette every year at home in Germany. She and we thought this raclette was great! She even thought it was better than the one her family uses at home!
Very easy meal, and great for parties or large families. It is very condusive to table discussions, and overeating good food.
The raclette cleaned up easily.

The Raclette makes a party happen. You can have so many things ready to cook that each person can help themselves and then cook only what they like. We used pork tenderloin, mushrooms, shrimp, chicken, sliced potatoes (pre-boiled a little), peppers, onions, and then to top it all off - pound cake slices and fresh pineapple in the little tins under the heat source with chocolate on top. Each of us could season to taste and then eat and enjoy and we could all talk and eat all night. A great get together time!!

This is a very nice, reasonably priced Raclette grill. The temp control is great and it cleans up nicely. I would recommend this grill to others.

We purchased two of these to replace units we purchased years ago in Europe. They are a bit slow to heat up but work fine.

We gave this as a gift to my in-laws. Their old one (from France) had to be thrown out. They were thrilled with this one. The cook-top is a great size. The square trays are perfect for fitting in pieces of raclette.

I had an old raclette grill that finally bit the dust and purchased this one as a replacement. We rarely prepare raclette (although this would work just fine) but do a variety of tabletop grilling with meats, poultry, seafood & vegetables. I use fondue plates (with little sections for sauces) and put out platters of fixings. Everyone always has a great time. This product is perfect with non-stick pans & the reversible top.
