How did I ever cook without it?

The Smart Stick Hand Blender is better than I thought it would be. The first time I used it was on some whole cherry tomatoes that I wanted to puree after they were cooked. I had the option of using my Cuisinart blender before cooking or waiting until the mixer cooled, but tried the Smart Stick while it was hot and in the pan. Wow. It not only took care of the "meat" of the tomatoes, but pureed the skins as well. The result was a perfect smooth sauce that I turned into a sugar-free BBQ sauce. I totally love this little gadget (and the fuschia color I ordered was a fun addition to my kitchen).

Good for a Frist Time User

This is great for someone that has never used a stick blender. I've been using one for many years, so for me it was not the best. I have a Cuisinart stick blender with multiple attachments and variable speeds. I bought this one because it was blue and matched my kitchen. Gave the old grey one to my helper. After one use of the blue one, I was unhappy with the way it mixed my protein shake (just powder and water). After the second use I was on the phone asking to trade her for my old one. She willingly agreed. She's very happy with this one, and was puzzled about what my problem was. "It wasn't powerful enough." She thought it was just fine, she's a first time user. Great for her. Not so much for me.

This is a great stick blender. Having used only the home version blenders before, there is no comparison! The power is exactly what I need as I use mine mostly for soapmaking. This does the job very nicely and does not cut down in power while in use.

Best stick mixer

I ordered the yellow one, its more toward the light orange. I would have preferred a sunshine yellow. That doesn't diminish the quality of the mixer. Great power, easy to remove blade for cleaning. I keep it near the stove and work area ready for use. Love it, and the price was great.

I purchased this particular hand blender because I trust the brand, and it was ranked #1 on America's Test Kitchen. I love this thing! I bought it for making smoothies and soups. It is fantasticly easy to use and clean. I would recommend this blender to anyone looking to purchase a hand blender. The best!

My chef friends could not believe I didn't have one of these. Now I know why. I prefer making most thing from scratch. I love using this for salsas. I make salsa several times a week. I used to use my blender when I was in a hurry. I prefered to chop everything because I don't like thin salsa. Now I use my hand blender. It is so much better. You have so much more control with the consistency. My daughter loves to make smoothies with this. We use it daily.

I love it, I used it to whip up fruit I cooked and it had no problem at all with the thicker fruit.
