  1. How do I create a wedding registry on Cooking.com?

  3. When should I register?

  4. We recommend completing your wedding registry three to four months prior to your wedding. If you are having engagement parties or showers, you may want to create a registry in advance of those activities, as guests will want to give you gifts.

  5. What is the couple’s profile, and why do I need to provide this information?

  6. The couple’s profile includes your names, email address, wedding date and location, password, and shipping address. This is all information that we need in order to process your registry, communicate with you, and assure that your guests can locate your registry.

  7. Will my personal information be publicly available?

  8. No. Your personal profile is password-protected, and only you have the password. Guests can only view your name, wedding month and year, city and state, and items you have registered for. You may also opt to require a password for your guests to view your registry.

  9. How do I select products?

  10. We have selected our most popular and practical items for the wedding registry. You may browse those selected products, or at any time you can add any of the thousands of products on our site to your registry. When you see a product you like, simply indicate the quantity you’d like and click on the button marked “Add to Registry.” You can always remove a product or change the quantity requested at a later date.

  11. Can I save what I’ve done and finish registering later?

  12. Definitely. Registering for all the right products takes time! Once you’ve created your personal profile, anything you add to your registry will be saved for the next time you visit your registry at Cooking.com.

  13. How do I update my registry?

  14. Simply return to Cooking.com and view your registry. You can add products, change the quantity desired, and remove products. View Registry.

Using a Registry

  3. Can I track orders that have been sent to me?

  4. Yes. Simply go to your Thank You list. All gifts purchased for you for your wedding will be reflected there, with status information.

  5. How long will my registry be active?

  6. Your registry will be active online for 13 months after your wedding date.

  7. How often are purchases off my registry updated?

  8. Your registry will be updated to reflect purchases as quickly as possible; usually this takes no longer than fifteen minutes.

  9. What is the Return Policy?

  10. OUR GUARANTEE: Cooking.com unconditionally guarantees all merchandise. Any gift item shipped to you from Cooking.com may be returned for a merchandise credit that can be used on a future Cooking.com order. Refund checks are not available for gift returns.

  11. What if an item on my registry has been discontinued?

  12. We’ll send you an email notifying you that the item has been discontinued. We invite you to return to your registry to add a replacement item.

  1. How do I let my guests know about my Cooking.com wedding registry?

  2. We make this easy for you, offering notification emails that we can send on your behalf to any of your guests. Emails will be sent immediately once an email address has been submitted. Notify Guests.

  3. What is the Guest Notification List?

  4. This is a list, maintained by Cooking.com, that shows all of the guests who have received email notifications from the registrant.

  5. What is the Thank You List?

  6. To help you stay on top of your thank-you notes, we provide a list of who has purchased various items on your list, and what those items are.

  7. Does Cooking.com have a completion program?

  8. Yes. Couples receive 10% off items they purchase from their registry for six months after the wedding. Note: discount only applies to items that were on the registry before the wedding date.

Guest/Shopping

  1. How do I find someone’s registry

  2. To find a couple’s registry, simply go to the wedding registry tab on our site, and search for the couple’s names, entering as much of the requested information as you know. Once you enter the registrant’s information, we will provide a list of all registries that match your request. Using the wedding dates and locations, select the correct couple.

  3. What if I can not find a registry?

  4. You can call us toll free to verify a registry, at (800) 663-8810.

  5. What if I am unable to access a registry?

  6. If the registry you’re looking for requires a password, contact the couple for that password. For privacy reasons, we can only give the passwords to the couple that has registered.

  7. What if I forgot the guest password?

  8. If the registry you’re looking for requires a password, contact the couple for that password. For privacy reasons, we can only give the passwords to the couple that has registered.

  9. Can I purchase items that are not listed on a couple’s registry?

  10. You can buy any items from our site for someone’s wedding. Simply log in to a registry and find the desired product on our site. Each item you add to your cart while logged in to a couple’s registry will be reflected on their registry.

  11. Does Cooking.com provide gift cards or gift wrap?

  12. Several gift wrap options are available for wedding registry purchases, along with a gift card. Please note that we cannot wrap extra large items or items shipped directly from our suppliers.

  13. How do I redeem a Gift Certificate?

  15. Can I shop for myself and a couple at the same time?

  16. Yes. While you are logged in to a couple’s registry, any item that you add to your cart will be reflected on their registry. To shop for yourself or anyone else in the same visit, simply log out once you have added the items for your registry purchase to your cart, then continue shopping.

  2. Yes. The couple has provided a shipping address for their gifts. We can send the gift there, or to any other address you specify.

  5. Does Cooking.com offer delayed shipping dates?

  6. We do not currently offer the ability to ship products at a later date. Orders are usually processed and shipped within 24 hours of receipt.
