Great size, good product

What can you say about a jar to hold garlic? Well, it is the right size. I have had that small garlic bulb shaped jar for years, that you can hardly fit any garlic in, or put your hand in to retrieve it. This does the trick. Very nice jar.

Practical Garlic Keeper

This garlic keeper is larger than most garlic keeper jars, but now I don't have to fight to get the heads of garlic into the container. I love having 3 or 4 heads of garlic on hand and keeping them conveniently stored in this attractive terracotta pot.

No Odor Eater

I purchased this product hoping that it would serve the dual purpose of helping to extend the shelf-life of my garlic and hopefully help control the odor emitted by the garlic. So far I am very please with the freshness of the garlic that I have stored in the keeper. As for the odor... it is not eliminated, but certainly is not as potent as when i was keeping the garlic in an open basket.
My experience so far is that this product serves its intended purpose quite well.

Impressive

I bought this for my daughter who is getting married. It has a nice design on it, and it will hold a few heads of garlic. Most of all my daughter loves it.

Great- holds 3-4 heads of garlic. I've only had it for a week or so, so I don't know how well it keeps the garlic versus on the counter (the previous option), but it minimizes the mess from dried crumbly garlic leaves. My first order arrived cracked, but I called cooking.com and they sent a replacement (uncracked) within 3 days- excellent customer service!! And I didn't have to send back the cracked item, which minimizes the hassle!

Simple but perfect!

I grow garlic and purchased this garlic keeper for my niece to give her some of this years harvest. It is a nice size, simple design and does what it is meant to, keep garlic fresh.

Best Garlic Keeper

This garlic keeper is the perfect size for my kitchen. It holds several heads of garlic, and keeps them in great condition. Most garlic keepers I have found only keep a small head, and that's worthless for my purposes. This Terracotta Garlic Keeper would also be great for keeping a few shallots, so I may order another one soon.

Buy one (or two)......you won't be sorry.

Teracotta garlic keeper

Love it, love it, love it! I have bought several garlic keepers in the past, however they were always too small for the whole garlic, this one is a perfect to fit for the Giant garlic variety.

Garlic Keeper- Love it!

This container is just the right size! The wide opening at the top allows for easy access to the garlic inside. The lid sits on top for easy opening/closing. I have two full-sized cloves of garlic in there now and there is plenty of room for more. This is a great product.

Can fit at least 3-4 large cloves of garlic in it! Larger than I thought it would be from the picture.

Great Garlic Keeper

I like to keep lots of garlic arouund so the size is perfect. I also store shallots in it. I like the rustic look. It looks nice on my countertop. This would also make a great gift for a fellow foodie.

Really like this garlic keeper. Works well to keep garlic fresh. Just wish it were a little larger.

Not what I expected

This is much larger than it looks in the picture. I don't use a lot of garlic, so it is kind of a waste of space for my one garlic clove I buy per week. If you use a lot of garlic this would be for you. It also is kind of plain. I don't know why they didn't paint or glaze this. Maybe that would have effected the ability to "keep" the garlic for longer.

This is a great garlic keeper! There's plenty of room to store the garlic bulbs, plus the wide mouth makes it easy to retrieve them. Keeps the garlic nice 'n fresh, too!

Love my new Garlic Keeper

The garlic keeper is a generous size, large enough to hold several heads of garlic, but not too large. And it looks great on my counter. But the reason I purchased it was to prevent my garlic from sprouting so fast. So far I think it's working well.

Garlic Keeper Works!

This product is great. A vast improvement over my prior garlic storage method! I love the size of the keeper. We use a lot of garlic in our house so we have large quantities of it at all times. This keeper is also very attractive. It looks great on my counter.

I love this garlic keeper. Sturdy terracotta, with enough room to fit several heads of garlic. I would definitely purchase again.

Unfortunately this product was way too large for me. It does hold an enormous amount of garlic heads. I use fresh garlic but not that much garlic and had to return it.
