The RSVP International Rotary Food Mill lets you quickly power through straining and pureeing many common foods. Each rotary food mill comes with three blades with varying hole sizes. The blades, in coarse, medium and fine grades, let you choose the amount of pulp and the size of the final pieces are after use. The versatile tool has interchangeable stainless steel disks that make it easy to swap sizes during use. Sharp stainless-steel construction holds its edge for quite some time, and the rotary food mill cleans easily on the top shelf of most dishwashers. An odor-free bowl does not absorb or alter flavors and holds ample food for preparation. Each mill comes with a long handle for comfortable use, and a pot rest between 6.25 and 10.25 inches in diameter fits on top of the bowls. Best Used For: Use the rotary food mill to puree apples to create delicious sauce for a tasty and healthy snack or juice tomatoes with a different interchangeable blade. Choose your own puree size for carrots or potatoes and create hearty soups with fresh ingredients. Features:
  • Quickly strain or puree many soft foods
  • Multiple blades allow precise preparation
  • Interchangeable design allows for quick blade swaps
  • Plastic odor-free bowl protects flavors
  • Long handle creates comfortable grip during use
  • Large pot rest relieves stress and strain
  • Fits neatly over many bowls and pots
  • Cleans quickly in the top rack of dishwashers
  • Cleaning & Care: Top rack, dishwasher-safe
  • Material: Plastic bowl; 18/10 stainless steel disks
  • Origin: China

  • Excellent product

I had a stainless steel food mill for years but it was large, bulky and hard to turn. I still need to use a food mill occasionally so decided to purchase a much smaller lighter version. I am thrilled with the lighter, easier plastic mill. The blades and handle are stainless but the compact plastic bowl makes it so much lighter and the smaller handle is easier to turn. I would recommend this product to "older" cooks whose hand strength has diminished a little over the years.

    I recommend this product.

  • Glad I bought this

Bought this as using a potato ricer has become problematic for my hands. It is easy enough to assemble and use--does a great job, and can be put in the dishwasher. Who could ask for more?

    I recommend this product.

  • Silky smooth mashed potatoes

I read about using a food mill in Cook's Country magazine ... that it makes silky smooth mashed potatoes without fail. I had to get one and this one is fantastic. It's easy to use and lives up to its promise. I highly recommend it! I love it!

  • I really haven't had a chance to use the food mill. It was easy to put together and a lot lighter than my old one. It also has three blades, the one I had just had the one. We will see if it last as long as my old one (35 years). I hope so

    I recommend this product.

  • Best inexpensive food mill

Bought this based on America's Test Kithchen review. For under $25.00 it works awesomely. Bought it to make apple sauce. Works great, pretty easy clean up. All stainless steel would have been nicer (at 3 or 4 times the price), but I'll worry about that if I use this enough to wear it out. Minimal effort to use, reverses to keep mill going. Bowl grips work well on my stainless steal bowls and pans. Truely love it!

Truth is that I have yet to use the Food Mill. Looks good, though. Good price. Food Mill and Ricer. Assembles easily. Existing reviews sold it to me.

  • rating of food mill

I really like the food mill. I have one that was my mothers which got all rusted in my cupboard. This one is great, all I have to do is try to keep the disks from rusting. I look forward to using it. I put that my husband and I cook for the two of us, but a lot of times we cook for 5 to 8 people.

  • This product is lightweight and easy to use. It does a great job and is a great value. My only criticism is that it is a bit difficult to get the stabilizing bar locked in under the tabs.

Product is not sturdy enough for daily or constant use, but is perfectly acceptable for occasional use, which is all I needed. Works as advertised.

I was very pleased with how well this food mill worked. The ease of changing the blades and different applications it can be used for is nice.

  • Does job cheaply!

It is too light and difficult to hold in place when in use. I would spend a little more next time and get an all metal one. It just feels a bit flimsy but is ok for small lighter applications

  • it was a good value for the money and how much I will be using it. It will not get as much use with me (I will use it seasonally because of apple season) compared to someone else who might use it daily....if I were to use it constantly I would have gotten a really good model....this one was good for my needs.

Great product. Super value. Cuts my food prep time way down because I no longer have to seed and remove peels from tomatoes before making soup! It would be most helpful if instructions were included as to how to install the round metal grater.

  • Missing instructions

I read a review in a cooking magazine and wanted a food mill to try out. The price for this one was great for a beginner product. It did take me awhile to put the thing together since I have never used a food mill and simple instructions would have been appreciated.

  • just what I was looking for

I recently made a smallish batch of applesauce with my new food mill. I used 7 pounds of apples and did not have to disassemble the mill for cleaning. (Just reverse direction and the blades take care of everything else.) And if I ever need to process a larger batch, I won't have a problem because the assembly is intuitive and thoroughly UNcomplicated...a definite plus with a pot full of hot apples! I found this mill through the Cook's Illustrated website to which I subscribe. If you decide in favor of this mill, you won't regret your purchase.

  • Excellent tool for the price

I just finished my third batch of tomato sauce using this food mill. I've never used one before but it's much better than seeding and peeling the tomatos before processing them. Of course, the white plastic is now tinged a bit pink but.......Who Cares!

I'm looking forward to using it to process my applesauce and the wife wants to try it on "mashed" potatos.

    I recommend this product.
