I feel it was worth the value. I haven't used it yet. I did want an all stainless mill. But the price on them was way over what I was willing to pay for the amount of times that i actually will use it.

it was a good value for the money and how much I will be using it. It will not get as much use with me (I will use it seasonally because of apple season) compared to someone else who might use it daily....if I were to use it constantly I would have gotten a really good model....this one was good for my needs.

For occasional use

Product is not sturdy enough for daily or constant use, but is perfectly acceptable for occasional use, which is all I needed. Works as advertised.

This product is lightweight and easy to use. It does a great job and is a great value. My only criticism is that it is a bit difficult to get the stabilizing bar locked in under the tabs.

I really like the food mill. I have one that was my mothers which got all rusted in my cupboard. This one is great, all I have to do is try to keep the disks from rusting. I look forward to using it. I put that my husband and I cook for the two of us, but a lot of times we cook for 5 to 8 people.

Truth is that I have yet to use the Food Mill. Looks good, though. Good price. Food Mill and Ricer. Assembles easily. Existing reviews sold it to me.

Best inexpensive food mill

by Gary, OH
March 25, 2013

Bought this based on America's Test Kithchen review. For under $25.00 it works awesomely. Bought it to make apple sauce. Works great, pretty easy clean up. All stainless steel would have been nicer (at 3 or 4 times the price), but I'll worry about that if I use this enough to wear it out. Minimal effort to use, reverses to keep mill going. Bowl grips work well on my stainless steal bowls and pans. Truely love it!

I LOVE my Rotary Food Mill. I never thought it would be so easy to mash potatoes. They are so fluffy. I don't even need to add butter. And clean up is a snap. Rinse and in the dish washer. I love it. I have already recomended it to a friend. The price is the best part.

This is the first time using a food mill, but needed one for applesauce.
Easy to use and clean. Fits the bowls well. Returns to the box easily for long term storage. I will continue to try it with other foods.

Rorary Food Mill by R.S.V.P.

I've tried to find a satisfactory replacement for my very old Foley food mill for a long time, and happened upon a review of this mill through the Cooks Illustrated website. It has everything I was looking for: it sits up high on the bowl, sits level, operates easily and efficiently, and disassembles and cleans up easily. I use a food mill mostly for making applesauce and this one does the job well.

I had LOTS of tomatoes this summer from our garden, and I wanted to use them. My mother-in-law, Mary, has made tomato juice for years and showed me how to do it. I used her mill. I had to scrub the rust out before I used it, and several times during the process. It worked OK, but I knew there had to be a better one out there. I Googled
