Serving Set

Beautiful! I bought this to go with a Better Homes and Garden Country Crest set of dishes. No one has serving pieces, so these blend in nicely. It would be nice to have a few platters and serving bowls!

This set was a little smaller than I expected, but that didn't bother me as much as the finish on them. The one shaker especially has color missing on the top of it right around the holes. It's very noticeable. Other than that I'm happy with the set.

What I ordered was for gifts. I originally bought one when I was on vacation from The Cat on a Whick in southport NC. I liked it so much I wanted to share it with my friends.

Serving soft butter

I love leaving my real butter out and serving it soft. Some guests kept picking the whole container up and spilling the water but they quickly caught on to how to use it.

Change of scenery

This butter bell gives a little spice to life in the kitchen without it making too bold a statement. I like to make changes to bring new life during the different seasons of the year. Well, you can't always paint walls or replace blinds/curtains, but by adding this beautiful shade of red butter bell to the kitchen counter/table makes a nice change of scenery. Gives it a nice pot and brightens up the day! It's a subtle shade of red, so it's not too brassy or gaudy looking. Just what I need and liked.

Love my butter bell.....

This is a fantastic product. It's the way butter was kept fresh for a bazillion years before refrigeration was invented. Simple, effective - butter tastes as fresh as it did the day you filled the bell. I am buying two more...one for unsalted butter, the other for herb butter. I said a good value but since it's kind of like two coffee cups in amount of ceramic, I frankly think 24.95 is about $5 too steep. But since it works, and looks great, I'm overlooking that.
