Excellent value

Yeah, it's not cheap, but it lasts a lifetime and you can use it for all sorts of foods. Compared with a similar Le Creuset, it seems to brown things better, as well. From baking bread, chili, braised foods, and roasted chicken, this thing is my favorite kitchen tool next to a chef's knife. Also it looks really pretty. I highly recommend it.

Worth the money!!

This makes the best soups, stew, etc. So far I have made Gumbo and French Onion Soup. It keeps things from burning (I have a tendency to do too many things at once and get distracted.) I have also found it easy to clean.

Superior Cooking Tool

We love our dutch oven by Staub. The quality is worth the price. We tried other dutch ovens and found them falling apart/chipping after only a couple of uses. We are 'flexitarians' who tend to cook a lot of veggie meals that we can spread out throughout the week. We choose organic, natural, and local foods and the flavors meld together and cook thoroughly in our Staub. Super Dutch Oven

The Staub Dutch Oven is everything I hoped it would be. Besides being a fine quality product, its is so beautiful I keep it on display in my kitchen. I highly recommend this dutch oven to anyone looking for a medium sized pot that also is great looking.

Information on product

I have not used the product yet but I love the way it looks and the way it is made. It looks sturdy and looks like I will get many years of service from it. My only complaint is the information booklet I think that is what it is it's written in several other languages but not in English. Why is that I am sure other English speaking people have purchased this product. So please tell me why it is not also in English?
