not quite as expected

With a sales promotion I got 6 in Nougat and 4 in Sand.I have never seen this in person, online only. But since I have existing Urban sets including the Inidividual Salad Bowls I thought it would go well to add on. I have small children and thought it would be something convenient for serving treats/snacks/ice-cream... but I find them a bit small to hold the food in. So, it's not quite I had envisioned. Upon receiving the bowls, I checked for quality and they showed unevenness in thickness & roundness of the bowls - this ineffect made stacking the bowls not as nice or they won't nest as nice quality bowls should. And this bothered me a bit, but Husband said it's ok and keep them for the sale price. I think had I paid for full price, I would've returned. I didn't mind that the bowls didn't hold food like I envisioned, but I expect the bowls to be better made or shaped. I wondered if they were "Seconds". So, anyway, I still have them and using them. Because of smaller size (than expected) but much more due to quality, I give a rating of 3,unfortunately. I expect more from Emile Henry.
