Use the KitchenAid Sausage Stuffer Attachment to make homemade sausage that's flavorful and healthy. Sausage-making is quickly becoming a lost culinary skill for most home cooks, but this attachment for your KitchenAid stand mixer makes the process simple. This kit includes a large tube for dinner-size sausage and a small tube that allows you to make breakfast-size links. These tubes are designed to attach to the KitchenAid food grinder attachment, which is not included with this kit. Sausage has a reputation for being high in fat and sodium, and much of the store-bought sausage is. When you make your own at home, you can control the ingredients that go into the sausage to keep it as healthy as possible without sacrificing flavor. Using pork butt as the base, add garlic, fennel, cayenne, parsley and red wine to make delicious Italian sausage, or go with the rich flavors of cumin, coriander and paprika to make chorizo sausage for a delicious Spanish feast. Go German with a mixture of pork, veal, nutmeg, mace and ginger for an authentic bratwurst. Indulge your sausage craving while watching your waistline by combining ground chicken with sun-dried tomatoes, onion, red wine vinegar and garlic for a tasty yet low-calorie meal. With this KitchenAid sausage stuffer kit, you can come up with your own unique recipe for homemade sausage to wow guests at your next dinner party.

  • Sausage Stuffer works great

We went to Cabela's before purchasing the stuffer for our KitchenAid. We determined that to get a sausage/grinder/stuffer that would be better than the KitchenAid version we would have to buy the absolute top of the line commercial model for around $700. The lower end model's capacity is not that much bigger than the KitchenAid. If you already have the KitchenAid, might as well buy the grinder and sausage stuffer attachment because it works fine. We ground 15 pounds of venison with another 7 pounds of boston butt pork roast, mixed them together and then stuffed into summer sausage casings. Used Cabelas summer sausage making kit...smoked it in our grill...and it tastes better than Hickory Farms ;)

    I recommend this product.

  • This is a replacement sausage stuffer attachment. I accidentally threw out the small part that allows the unit to set correctly on the grinder assembly. Also, do not over tighten, I cracked my first large sausage attachment. Other than that, it is easy to use and I have been able to make sausages that pleases all family and friends that taste them.

    I recommend this product.

  • Ease of use

When I recieved the attachment I was a little leary, but, after collecting the casings, which my local butcher supplies at a very reasonal price, I attempted to proceed.I found that it is so easy ,I will be making more on a regular basis. Thank You

  • Sausage Stuffer Attachment Doesn't Work

I have been making sausage for 40 years and normally use a hand crank system. Since I have a Kitchen Aid mixer, I decided to try the sausage stuffer. It was terrible! What normally would take me an hour to do by hand, took over 3 hours with the Kitchen Aid. I sent this product back.

  • Sausage Stuffer

Works perfect for 1 to 3 pounds. Any more just takes too long. It was definately worth the money and we now enjoy a lot fresh sausages. Makes recipe development simple also because it cleans up easy.

    I recommend this product.

  • Stuffing sausage in casings

I believe the slowness of filling the casings is more due to the Grinder function than the stuffer attachment. Maybe the center restriction piece contributes to the slow stuffing?!

  • The sausage stuffer works perfectly, and the price was right (even including shipping). I haven't been able to find this item locally, and those who would order it for me quoted a price twice as high (plus tax). I've ordered from you 3 times, and you bend over backward to make sure things are right. You're Great!

  • A friend and I made sausage for the first time with the KitchenAid attachment. I probably could not have handled the job alone trying to put the meat through the machine and handling the sausage as the casing filled. We had a super time making the sausage together and the stuffer does a great job.

  • The only thing I would have liked them to add to this product is when to use the small plastic piece that comes with the two sizes of sausage tubes. The directions have no real information on this part, but we determined it's when you're using pre-ground meat.
