Just have fun!

While reading some of the recipe cards,I can say that this new version of my all time favorite board game. Is going to be a blast.Quality family time will be had by all who play.

We are now obsessed with this new version! It adds a whole new dimension and we can not imagine playing the standard version now.

What a difference

If you like scrabble then this is a great change of pace for an old and cherished game. It gives you a chance to think in different terms than one is familiar with and creates a lot of fun in the process. Adding the recipe cards to the mix helps break the game up into a real puzzle.

BEST SCRABBLE GAME EVER !!!

I got one for my daughter in June as a surprise. Both my daughter and son-in-law are great cooks, so perfect game for them. We had the time of our lives playing, laughing and crying from laughter. It is great to use cooking terms and get rewarded. PLUS, it is just a regular Scrabble for the non cooks. It was so much fun to have the cards to play and the cute little shopping bag for the tiles. TRY IT! YOU WILL LOVE IT!! and probably never play plain Scrabble again!!
I just bought one for my son's girlfriend for her birthday in January. She is an awesome cook and I know she will love it.

Scrabble Cooking Edition

I love scrabble, but this game is horrible. First of all, the letters slide all over the board, it's way too slippery, there should be something that makes the letters grab better to the game board. and when turning to board so the next person can play, they just go everywhere. my old scrabble board did not do this, It had a linen like texture to the board , ( it was Selchow-Righter ) This game has a cute idea, but an awful application , I wouldn't buy another or recommend it to anyone. Not a good gift at all.

This version of scrabble is so much fun although, if you know cooking terminology, you have an advantage but it's fun for everyone who plays. I gave one to my Hostess for Thankgiving dinner, so order one for your favorite cook and they will love it!

excellent game for those who play scrabble and for those who are beginners...good choice.

It's actually a Christmas present... so we have not got to play this version. But it's Scrabble... Its got to be good.

l bouht this as a gift for my granddaughter she is 12 and getting into cooking and plans to play the game with her Dad.

Great Gift

I bought mine as an early Christmas present and it was very well received by some regular gamers, including fans of original Scrabble. I would give it 5 stars except that since I have not actually played the game - I didn't think I could honestly comment on the whole product.

Perfect gift for Foodie

Had a great time playing this version of the traditional game. It's important to set the ground rules before you start playing because there is a lot is left up to interpretation and usually family members are some of the worst cheaters there are. Good times!

Cooking Edition Tricky

The main twist here is how you can gain extra points for food/cooking words ... if you forget it you will lose. Fun variation and the cards throw for good fun.

I bought two games as Christmas gifts for my adult foodie kids. For my January birthday we had a team Scrabble-thon ... and it was a blast!
When I told a sister about it, she had me order another one for her son and his wife as an anniversary gift.
Fun game even for non-foodies!
