Neeley's recipe compared to their bottled

I cooked the Neeley's recipe for their barbeque sauce and it was excellent. It was time consuming to make so I bought their prepared barbeque sauce. In comparison to homemade the bottled sauce was runny and not nearly as flavorful. From now on I will spend the time and prepare it myself. Jerry Peterson

The sauce was thicker than I expected. I also would have perferred it more spicey.

The sauce was bland. I'm not sure if it would taste better if I would have ordered it from their restaurant instead.

We lived in Memphis for 8 months last year. And moved back to the Washington D.C. area. During that time, we would eat at Neely's Resurant at least twice a month. We always ate at the Mt. Moriah location. We have met two of Pat's Brothers who work at the store. Very nice men and the service was outstanding. I just wish that they would go nationwide with the sale of their BBQ sause in grocery stores. Other chef's have there products in stores, so I think that the Neely's brand BBQ sauce should do the same.
