I absolutely LOVE the Pike Place Roast coffee. The first cup I ever had I was amazed at the wonderful flavor, and it is now my favorite blend.

An exvcellent new coffe! Very full and flavorfull without being overwhelming. As a decaff person I find this coffe to be fully satisfying without the usual overpowering flavor of most caffeinated coffees. My new favorite blend!!

Starbucks offers many excellent coffee blends but, by far, the best is the Pike Place Roast.

I haven't received these yet because Starbucks doesn't ship packages to APO's using Priority Mail; therefore, the packages take 6-8 weeks by ship. Additionally, $15+ for shipping seems rather expensive. I am not willing to wait that long - even under a subscription; given that coffee has a relatively short shelf life, I am not going to continue this program. I love Starbuck Coffee - I'll just have to settle for a less favorite blend from the commissary in Seoul.

I am a coffee drinker! I drink it every way imaginable (black, cream only, sugar only, cream and sugar, flavored, etc) and I enjoy trying different roasts. I usually tend toward medium or dark roasts with bold or even very bold flavor and tend to prefer cocoa or caramel undertones as opposed to smoky. If this sounds like you, stay away from Pike Place Roast! It tastes like bark. Considering that I have been on a low carb diet for a few weeks, so everything tastes sweeter, I cannot imagine how bad it must be to someone who uses sugar. My husband, a double cream double sugar kinda guy, has to add extra everything to kill the taste, even with me adding a teaspoon full of unsweetened cocoa powder to the brew (it helps). Starbucks really dropped the ball on this one. I am terribly disappointed.

You can never go wrong with the Pike Place Roast coffee. It smells great when brewing and has a great taste. I buy this regularly because it has a great aroma and great taste.

We were having a large conference in Seattle and wanted to provide our participants with a gift that was reflective of Seattle. What better than StarBucks Coffee. I was given an 800 # to the Starbucks Store and told them I wanted to order the Pike Place Coffee that was originated in Seattle. I talked to the customer service person and said I wanted the original roast that was only found in Seattle to give as a gift. He said that only the whole bean Pike Place Roast was available and not the ground. I said the whole bean would be fine. Everyone loved the gift. I stayed in Seattle for a few days after the conference to do some site seeing. When I went into the original Starbucks Store, I saw that the Pike Place Coffee they had there was actually a special reserve, not the Pike Place Roast that I had received. Apparently the Pike Place Roast is sold all over the country. I was disappointed that this gift was not exclusive to Seattle, but enjoyed the coffee none the less.
