Starbucks coffee is a little bit of home for the holidays. My husband has just returned from a US Army deployment, so I wanted him to have the taste of home, even though we are so far away. Merry Christmas Starbucks, and thank you.

We are always pleased when we visit your stores and they have brewed Pike Place. Several years ago we visited Seattle and only stopped at your stores. Visiting the actual Pike Place was a highlight of our visit. Each time we enjoy your special coffee we are taken back to a great trip.

The name itself caught me, bringing back many memories of Pike Place Market in the late 60's-early 70's. But the taste is mellow, and you can imagine being at the many coffeehhouses sipping this special blend. A little light for us, but certainly enjoyable.

Pikes Place is certainly a good value for its price, but is somewhat bland and needs a good boost of flavor and depth. We mix in half Yukon Blend. This does the trick.

Pike Place is always one of my top favorites, although, I prefer the original and and Seattle only version of the coffee. I have had it a few times, due to friends visitng and bringing back beans or my recent trip where I purchased some myself. Pike Place is a must have.
