Having tried several different stoppers for wine bottles, to include the Ecko brand, these stoppers are among the best I have ever used. Their design allows an airtight fit for a variety of wine bottle opening sizes, something the others that I have tried didn't.

Along with the VacuVin these corks do a fabulous job of preserving wine when you cannot drink the full bottle, repeatedly even if only drunk one glass at a time. Very easy to use.

Actually these go with the VacuVin Wine Preserver, you can't use these without it.

wine stoppers for saving partial bottles

This is the best system for preserving left over wine in the bottle for later consumption. It allows you to vacuum the air out of the bottle and preserve a great deal of flavor. I wouldn't recommend long term storage this way or using on your very best wine (afterall, you should finish those bottles in one sitting, right?!); however, I've used it to store a unfinished bottle for a few days, take a glass, and do it again for another few days. A good solution for saving open bottles of wine. As a small, adult family, a bottle of wine lasts over the course of several meals. These stoppers are unbeatable for saving that wine.

The wine stoppers were just what I wanted, and they were just as advertised.

A fine product. Many reviewers have noted that it only keeps wine fresh for "a couple of days". However, my experience is that if you keep the wine someplace cool and re-vacuum it daily (what, you expected a perfect seal?) you can get more like five days out of it.

This is a "must have" if you use the wine preserver and want to have more than one bottle of wine open at any given time. This is a terriffic way to preserve your open wine.

These are the greatest for preverving opened bottles of wine. Of course, one needs the utensil as well. Whenever I use them in the presence of someone who has never seen it before, they are amazed and fascinated. Then they go hunting for the ensemble.

Non drinking spouse?

These are essential in the single wine drinking household! A friend gave me our first (with the pump) after hearing me compain about not being able to enjoy a good wine anymore after my husband stopped drinking it. These are the answer!
They really seem to work as far as keeping the wine "fresh".

He likes red, she likes white. This product, (along with it's pump) keeps both bottles fresh for days, so they never argue over what to serve with dinner.

When the stoppers disappeared..... (either her cat or his garbage disposal ate them)... we had to order more!

A Must For Wine Lovers

Bought the Black Wine Saver Gift Pack... this is a nice set and a wonderful value... like that you can buy extra stoppers to have on hand and reasonably priced. My wine does stay fresher longer with VacuVin. Stoppers are durable. Cheers :)
