Perugia Blend Coffee Beans

We can't start our day without Perugia Coffee!!! The aroma, the taste, it is a strong coffee, but has this velvet touch that it's hard to compare.

I think the Torrefazione Palermo is actually the best coffee, but they discontinued it. The whole bean Perugia has a wonderful caramel and earthy body that is absent from most coffees. If you like your coffee Starbucks burned or watery or acidic, Perugia is not for you. If you want rich full bodied coffee, you really can't do better.

We received a gift of this coffee last spring and I have been hooked ever since. While it is a little more expensive than some others I have tried, I use less so it evens out, more or less. I just got back from 3 weeks in Italy and had my eyes peeled for this particular coffee with no luck. So I guess I am a permanent customer until I give up good coffee.

This is a consistently smooth, full flavored espresso. Not super oily beans, so it doesn't clog up the machine.

Good coffee

Perugia Blend Coffee is a very mild, drinkable coffee. My wife will drink this coffee, too, and she is very particular. This is one of the very few coffees that she will drink.

Great Value - Great Taste

It is becoming more difficult all the time to find this wonderfully rich coffee in grocery stores. Finding it online, and on sale was fantastic. You cannot beat the price buying it locally, even with the added cost of shipping. Thank you cooking.com for offering this at a great price.

Torrefazione whole beans

I have used the Perugia blend for years to make espresso at home--in fact, since Torrefazione had its own coffee shops in the Pacific Northwest. Now I think cooking.com is the only place selling them. You can make espresso comparable to what you find anywhere in northern Italy.

Espresso Beans For Machine

I was looking for an espresso bean that reminds me of the cafe crema that I have in Switzerland and Austria. Lavazza Super Crema is pretty close, but I've had too much over the past year and wanted something new. These beans are close, but too oily.

Great coffee!!!

This coffee is a little pricey, but it's good. Well worth the money for the quality. Brew a pot of this stuff in the morning and the aroma in the house will surely get your day off to a good start.

BEST COFFEE EVER !!

THIS IS THE SMOOTHEST COFFEE I HAVE EVER HAD THIS SIDE OF ITALY, AND THAT'S REALLY SAYING SOMETHING BECAUSE I HAVE TRIED A LOT OF DIFFERENT BRANDS AND BLENDS. THIS COFFEE IS A BIT PRICEY, BUT WORTH THE PRICE !

Favorite coffee

I have loved Terrafazione Italia coffee since I started getting in their little cafes, now sadly bought out and gone. My all time favorite was Roma, renamed something else. Now I don't know if it exists - so I get my second favorite, Perugia. I hope you are not selling off limited quantities and that I will continue to be able to have it. I'm addicted!

Great coffee

Complex flavor without being harsh or bitter.

coffee is certainly an individual taste, but this is the closest I have found to tasting like Italian coffee. We have been purchasing this same brand (and have tried a few others) for several years.

Perugia, ah Perugia

Not as punchy as Napoli, but a very nice coffee indeed. The usual Torrefazione attention to roasting detail. I brew in a press, probably not the way to get the best from this bean. Still excellent, though.

Starbucks coffee is overall too dark roasted with a bitter aftertaste and I do not buy their products.
I lived in Seattle for a decade and I am Italian therefore I have a great appreciation and culture of coffee's drinks.

Still the best espresso beans out there

More bitter than I remember?

Been getting Torrefazione coffee for years, well over a decade, I'm sure. Sticking with the 'northern' blends, less burnt and bitter. It seems like the last batch is kinda bitter, or is it that my taste is more demanding all of a sudden?

The Only Beans I'll Buy

Torrefazione Italia Perugia Blend is the best coffee I've ever had outside of a Brazilian coffee shop. I couldn't do it better if I hand-picked and roasted the beans myself. Although the brand was purchased by Starbucks, I don't believe they've ruined it - these beans have a fragrance and taste that outshines any Starbucks beans you can find. I buy three bags at a time, store the extras, and grind a few as I need them. Even after the bag has been opened for a few weeks, the aroma is wonderful and the taste is delicious.
