I can't begin to tell you how many bags of this stuff we've gone through. We try other coffees on occasion but always come back to this one.

Makes a great cup of coffee!

Been buying Torrefazione coffee for years and love it. The Perugia Blend makes the perfect cup of coffee--smooth, flavorful, and delicous!

This coffee is fabulous. It has a smooth flavor that's easy for that first cup but it isn't weak at all!

I've loved this coffee for years and I bought it direct from Torrefazione Italia. When SBC took them over I still ordered it direct. Then it was to be sold only to retailers and I could no long purchase it. When they no longer carried it at my grocery store I tried several other types and brands but I kept looking for it. I was elated to discover it at cooking.com!

What I love about the Perugia coffee is that it doesn't give me the jitters and the flavor is full and cocoa-like. I think the beans they use are Robusto beans and I feel that the Robusto bean is actually a better bean and proper roasting is the key to it's consistently rich flavor. I make it in a French press (don't know any other way to make it).

Gift of coffee

My husband is very fond of Torrefazione Italia coffee and where we live, we have been unable to find it to purchase. I was quite pleased to see this product offered through @Cooking.com. He was very happy to find this in his Easter basket.

My well being and my life depend upon receiving my dose of Torrefazione Italia Perugia coffee in my espresso machine EVERY DAY.

As you are the only place I can get this excellent product I thank you for your service. In the back of my mind I am worried that Starbucks will make another arbitrary decision to eliminate the product and my life will decend into a very bad state.

Best coffee outside Italy

We first tasted this brand of coffee at a restaurant in Friday Harbor, Seattle. Promptly fell in love with it as we do love the coffee in Italy. By chance we found the real Torrefazione shop in Palermo during our trip to Sicily. We wish we brought an extra suitcase. They would ship it to US but the postage was pretty prohibitive - making this the next best way to enjoy our coffee, buying it through Cooking.com.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST COFFEE I'VE HAD

I had this coffee at the Coast Hotel in Calgary. While not a 5-star hotel, it did not stint on the free coffee packets it gave to guests for their coffeemaker in the room.

Torrefazione Italia's Perugia Blend is absolutely the best coffee I've had, not just in a hotel, but it beats Starbucks' own coffeehouse coffee. I say that because Torrefazione is a division of Starbucks. I kept one of the coffee wrappers, tracked it down once at home, and ordered it on the spot from Cooking.com which has a better deal than Amazon.

If you enjoy..well, are a coffee addict like me, you'll love the rich, definitive taste of Perugia Blend with none of the bitter taste that some roasted coffees have.

Terrific balance and finish, using it for espresso and French press. Best I've ever had.

Taste Has Changed

I think this once delicious coffee is now starting to taste like burnt Starbucks coffee. Not happy!!!

Excellent Tasting Coffee Beans

I buy nothing but Perugia Blend Whole Bean by Torrefazione. It's a premium blend and makes excellent coffee. No other coffee I've tried can compare.

I fell in love woth this coffee when I lived in Seattle. The King Soopers where I live in Colorado used to carry it, but no longer does. So glad I can get it online - and have it shipped automatically every couple of months.
