I use these jars to freeze small amounts of vegatables that I don't want to can. They are excellent for freezing or storing leftovers.

I HAVE AT LEAST 17 PEOPLE ON MY "JAM LIST" FOR CHRISTMAS. I DOUBLE THIS BECAUSE THEY LIKE IT SO MUCH... EACH RECIPIENT GETS 2 JARS. THIS IS MY FIRST YEAR TO TRY THESE CONTAINERS. OVER THE MANY YEARS OF PUTTING GOODS IN THE FREEZER, I PREFER "PLASTIC" CONTAINERS. THE ONLY THING BETTER WOULD BE IF THEY WERE SQUARE.

I make ice-cream in my cuisinart home ice-cream maker and needed something for storing it in our freezer. This product worked great and the ice-cream stayed very creamy and did not ice over.
