The product itself is wonderful, However I had to call customer service after receiving the 3 boxes I ordered. The first batch arrived with a 7 day expire date. that meant I had 7 days to use 96 ounces of beef broth. The company reordered for me. The next batch arrived with the same date, this meant I had ONE day to use the product. I was ready to send all back and tell them to refund my money. But I didn't , called customer service again, and this time product was shipped with a 8 month exp. date. so persistance does pay off, eventually.

The taste was not a rich flavor like I am used to. I used in in a Beef Vegetable soup and it was good, just not as rich as I would have liked it. Tasted like it was more water than beef.

I almost never use beef "stock in a box" because all the brands I had tried have a chemical taste & little beef flavor. I was surprised when Cook's Illustrated praised this brand and rated it #1. They noted that of all the brands they reviewed, this one's ingredient list is the cleanest - concentrated beef stock and concentrated vegetable stock. the CI article referenced FDA label regulations & said that the Rachel Ray stock had more actual meat in it per quart than any of the other brands tested. I've made French Onion soup with this and found it had a strong, beefy, natural flavor. I will buy this again.

I needed an inexpensive item to meet the dollar amount for free shipping and this did the trick. It is actually less than at my normal grocery store on your website and it is one of my favorite beef broths. Good flavor and not too salty like others.
