Rings like these give English muffins their characteristic shape. They are often preheated with the griddle, then batter is spooned into them and the muffins are cooked on one side before the rings are removed and the muffins flipped over to finish cooking. Packaged four to a box, the rings can also be used to make perfectly round pancakes and sunny-side up eggs, or they can double as biscuit cutters.

One came bent, but, was able to put back in almost circular shape. Sure will be able to use. Wish it was a little stronger.

Crumpet Rings! Not English Muffin Rings!:-)

Have not used the rings yet, but like to think I will, soon. Became a crumpet addict, some months ago, & I purchase a great many... Had great difficulty tracking crumpet rings & was very glad to find them. The product appears well made, as are other products by the maker (NorPro? sp?)

Good product, but don't use metal tongs...

I'm very pleased with these muffin rings overall. They made nice crumpets, and (assuming you sprayed them first) the crumpets fall right out of the rings when you're done. The only thing to note is, when flipping the rings, do not use metal tongs - use plastic or silicon ended ones, instead. It's not a problem the first time around, but I did notice that the metal tongs very slightly nicked the coating on the rings, and after washing had tiny rust spots. I won't make the mistake again, but it is something to note.
