Bake up breakfast with professional precision with this Norpro Set of 4 English Muffin Rings. Unlike free-form biscuits or the one-of-a-kind charm of hand-molded cookies, English muffins are meant to be uniform in shape so they toast up perfectly each and every time, and when it comes to creating a beautiful, round shape, these rings deliver. Pre-heat them then add your batter, and the hot tin rings will give your muffins a gorgeous, crunchy brown exterior while the insides cook up soft, fluffy and dotted with the signature nooks and crannies these muffins are so well known for. Each set comes with four rings, so you can multitask and complete several projects at once or get breakfast on the table faster by arming each of your little helpers with a muffin maker of their own. This set makes a great stuffer for an amateur cook's holiday stocking, or add it to a basket of handy accessories for a gift newlyweds are sure to love. Best Used For: Discover the delicious flavor of homemade English muffins and top your creations with butter and jam, use them to make a breakfast sandwich or delight your brunch guests with an eggs Benedict they'll never forget. These tins are also ideal for cutting biscuits or sugar cookies, cooking perfectly round sunny-side up eggs or as ring molds for creating restaurant caliber presentations of crab and avocado salad or cheesy potato gratin.

  • MOST HELPFUL REVIEWS

  • Cheap, Not Inexpensive

The muffin rings are made of tin, and are extremely low in quality. They do not hold their shape at all well, and rust quickly, even when hand-washed and dried.

You'd be better off cutting the ends off of a tuna can.

  • Great tool for wheat intolerant people

In the two weeks since I received these rings I've made two batches of ciabatta hamburger buns and two batches of gluten free almond milk ice-cream sandwiches. The possiblities are endless. They come off the baked good easily and wash well. My only complaint is that they're not four inches.

    I recommend this product.

  • English Muffin Rings

These are a hard item to find (and no tuna cans won't work, the bottoms don't come off!). I love my rings. The muffins slip right out with easy clean up. My family loves our fresh English muffins and I love that they become quick and easy to prepare.

  • Gluten Free Bun Help

English Muffin Rings have turned out to be a blessing. We are new to the GF world and these rings allowed us to have hamburgers for dinner. What a nice time we had that night.

Have sprayed these with oil and washed them in the top rack of the dishwasher. They are a nice addition to my kitchen pans and tools.

  • I bought these rings to make gluten free hamburger buns, and they have worked out great. They are pretty thin, and I hope over time they don't get bent, but they were so cheap, I am not too worried. I read a comment that someone wished they were a little larger, but I am very happy with the size. Great product!

    I recommend this product.

  • Forget about homemade muffin rings...

Although many cooking sites provide instructions for creating muffin rings using (empty and cleaned) tuna cans, the price of these is so low the time and hassle of making our own hardly seemed worth the trouble. (Yes, we still do always recycle our cans, but these rings avoid possible metal cuts from the home-made version). Very pleased with this purchase -- especially since the clost was much lower than on other web sited and local kitchen stores.

    I recommend this product.

  • In the Winner's Circle!

I'm impressed with the obvious quality of the English Muffin Rings. I bought three sets so that I'd be able to fill my griddle and cook them in larger batches. I'm glad I did!

  • Useful, sturdy, easy to clean

These are simple to use, and easy to clean. So far, I've used Alton Brown's recipe with great success. (I've made them without the rings, just freeform, but they rise higher and are more symmetrical using the rings.) Quick, easy, and fun to do. (Also, Alton's batter is ready within about a half hour, far quicker than many others)

I got these rings primarily to make English Muffins, but I have no trouble seeing myself using them for things like pancake batter or eggs.

One thing to look out for: the rings themselves get HOT, so keep some tongs handy to help move them around while hot.

I bought these after trying the old 'just cut the top and bottom off a tuna can' trick. That's too frustrating (hard to find cans that CAN have both top and bottom removed, most these days have a wavy bottom that's designed so you can stack the cans easily) and potentially hazardous (sharp edges, despite my best efforts), also messy and frustrating (some of the rings I made myself weren't perfectly smooth inside, so the muffins stuck to them)

    I recommend this product.

I love these. I'm starting a small bakery cafe and I really wanted to carry things that were different from other bakery's I've been to. So I bought these for my experiment and I absolutely love them. They make my delicious homemade english muffins look very professional and there a bit bigger than your usual muffin which I like too.

  • Forms

My husband has DH, which is a form of gluten intolerance, so I have to make hamburger and hot dog buns out of wheat free flour. These are great hamburger bun forms and I've got another set bent into the shape of hot dog buns. They have nice, finished bottoms that do not scratch my cookie sheets. They bend pretty easily, but that's OK by me. Spray them with a little cooking spray and then put 'em in the dishwasher and you'll be fine. Oh, they were shipped quickly and packaged nicely too.

    I recommend this product.

These rings were very helpful when I was making hamburger buns from a gluten free flour mixture, as the batter was not like wheat batter. I intend to use them often.

  • Sturdy?

The rings work fine but, be careful. They bend very easily---but of course, they bend back just as easily.
All in all, they do what they are supposed to do.
