I purchased these to use as ring molds, tartars, veg. etc... I've never used them as muffin rings, but they work fairly well as a ring mold. They deform easily, but are still usuable. Cheaper than stainless steel ring molds, however not very durable in comparison.

I love crumpets but trying to find them in the US is next to impossible. So, armed with a handy recipe I decided to make them, however - I could not find the necessary crumpet rings anywhere! A quick search on line revealed a single source in the US - Cooking.com. They looked pretty good from the on-line description and the price was extremely reasonable, so I ordered in 12 rings - 3 packages of 4. The ordering process was quick, easy and straight-forward and my crumpet rings - also used for making English Muffins - arrived in about a week. They are perfect! I heartily recommend them to anyone else who, like me, misses that good old-fashioned taste of British crumpets and decides to make their own.

The rings work fine but, be careful. They bend very easily---but of course, they bend back just as easily.
All in all, they do what they are supposed to do.

I love these. I'm starting a small bakery cafe and I really wanted to carry things that were different from other bakery's I've been to. So I bought these for my experiment and I absolutely love them. They make my delicious homemade english muffins look very professional and there a bit bigger than your usual muffin which I like too.
