Rings like these give English muffins their characteristic shape. They are often preheated with the griddle, then batter is spooned into them and the muffins are cooked on one side before the rings are removed and the muffins flipped over to finish cooking. Packaged four to a box, the rings can also be used to make perfectly round pancakes and sunny-side up eggs, or they can double as biscuit cutters.

  • Material: Tin

  • Size/Capacity: Set of 4
  • MOST HELPFUL REVIEWS:

  • Cheap, Not Inexpensive

The muffin rings are made of tin, and are extremely low in quality. They do not hold their shape at all well, and rust quickly, even when hand-washed and dried.

You'd be better off cutting the ends off of a tuna can.

  • Gluten-free breads are the consistency of canned icing. These rings allow me to make the perfect hamburger/sandwich bun for my husband.

  • Great tool for wheat intolerant people

In the two weeks since I received these rings I've made two batches of ciabatta hamburger buns and two batches of gluten free almond milk ice-cream sandwiches. The possiblities are endless. They come off the baked good easily and wash well. My only complaint is that they're not four inches.

    I recommend this product.

  • ring molds

I purchased these to use as ring molds, tartars, veg. etc... I've never used them as muffin rings, but they work fairly well as a ring mold. They deform easily, but are still usuable. Cheaper than stainless steel ring molds, however not very durable in comparison.

    I recommend this product.

  • These work really well, don't scratch the nonstick surface of my griddle and clean up easily. I originally tried using old tuna cans but the rounded bottoms don't come off easily and leave a sharp edge that either scratches the surface of the griddle or hands. These are worth the price to me.

    I recommend this product.

  • If you make English muffins from scratch, these are essential. Once you've tried home made muffins, storebought ones do not satisfy.

  • Great value for the price. Couldn't find it anywhere else. The edges are rolled nicely with very few places for dried batter to stick. They clean up quick and are just the right size for the muffins. tfhey fit perfect on a one burner griddle. I will probably order another set when I get the double.

    I recommend this product.

  • You can make English Muffins without rings, but you won't get the traditional cylindrical shape. In fact, you may end up with a glorified pancake. These rings make the process much easier and lend themselves to a variety of English Muffins recipe variations, from pancake-like batter to stiffer doughs. Use them to contain thinner batters, or as a "biscuit cutter" for stiffer doughs. They clean up easily but will get sticky if they are not properly oiled before each use.

    I recommend this product.
