Cute and Useful but Hot

I love pasta bowls, and these were so cute and the price was right, so I just had to get them. They are perfectly sized for a good helping of pasta - one bowl probably holds about a third to a half pound of pasta. They are also great for a large serving of ice cream, a bowl of cereal, or side salad. They have been fine in the dishwasher. My only small complaint is that they are quite a bit thinner than my other dishes, so if used for something hot like pasta, I can't really hold the bowl on the bottom or side with my bare hands. I either hold it by the ridge on top, or I just put a thick napkin or folded paper towel between my hands and the bowl.

Love these bowls! Not only are they cute & colorful, they are the perfect size for an entree salad or when making a rice-bowl recipe.

In the description it says that they were pasta bowls, so I was assuming they were a larger size not a wide cereal bowl which is what they look llike
