Mini Loaf Pans

Excellent quality, good price, works very well and I have used them a lot over the holiday season. 2 Cup capacity, they should say that in the description so you know it is 2/5 a regular size loaf to adjust your recipe accordingly.

We like them

by Lori, NC
March 23, 2009

the only issue we have is water gets traped in the fold and gets stuck there and causes rust, but if you dry them well shaking that out, its ok.

Great little pans

by JOANNE, NY
June 2, 2009

These pans are a great addition to any bakers kitchen. They create a nice even baked bread. Cleaning the pans is a little tricky because of the way they are constructed but a good soaking and the help of a toothpick will get any remaining crumbs out.

Pan is cheap and rusts

by Larry, CA
July 3, 2009

Because the metal has folds that hold water it rusts. There is no way to dry unless you put into a hot oven after washing.

I have used baking pans from Chicago Metallic for some time. I needed more as I bake for my grand children as well as my children. So far this year I have made almost 100 loaves of bread for them. You could not purchase a better quality bakeware. Easy to use and easy to clean.

Mini Loaf Pans

by Linda, GA
November 16, 2010

The only annoying thing about these pans is when you wash them, water gets under the outside lip around the top of the pans & it takes time & patience to get all the water out to dry the pans.

These little pans work perfectly, they are easy to use and easy to clean. When you just don't have time to wait an hour for one big loaf to bake, it's great to pop in some smaller loaves. Plus, it's fun to give everyone their own little bread loaf at dinner parties!

Pans perform well. They are ideal for Quick Breads, and having 4 pans allows efficiency when making 2 (or more) batches, which is generally what I'm doing when making gifts for the holidays or using up garden produce. Also handy for small salmon loafs. Only reservation is that it does not have tabs that allow easier removal/lifting from oven. I've 2 from a different manufacturer that have this feature, but have been unable to locate another set for the last 2 years.

I love these loaf pans! I recently purchased them to make 15 mini loaves to place in wedding guest baskets. Every loaf came out perfect -- great texture and easiest removal I've ever seen. Clean-up was a dream. I look forward to using these a lot in the future. Thanks for a great product!
