Good, solid blades, not easily bent, well anchored in the handle, which is well-balanced (unlike some steak knives that seek to fall off your plate at every opportunity because of overly heavy handles relative to the blades, or because of the shape). They look nice as well, and should last a long time.

I ordered these knives because of the Henckle reputation. I was very disappointed once I received the knives to note that they were made in Spain, not Germany. I returned the knives without using them.

I will never own a different set of knives. Threw out all t he "odd" steak knives and have standardized on Henckels. We have 8 in the "block" and four in the drawer. The ONLY steak kinfe to use.
