A costly disappointment

I know my computer screen is small, but I was totally unprepared for the glasses I received. They look nothing like what I thought I ordered (simple, clean-lined standard wine glasses). From the picture and description (limited description), the column-like stem with capital and base might appeal to others, but were absolutely not what I had in mind. Even making the picture larger gave me no indication of its actual profile. I would very much like to return them. I am so sorry about the misunderstanding. I imagine it could have been avoided by supplying a larger, clearer photo of one glass, emphasizing the details, I am fairly new to on-line shopping because of the increasing disability of arthritis. Returning a very large box to UPS will be very difficult for me. I can see that in the future, I will need to have more specifics about the items I order. My regrets, Janeen Marrin

I love the Riedel series of wine glasses. I love the different shapes for different wines. They look elegant on my table. Most of all, I like the price. I have broken several over the years and it doesn't hurt so much to replace. Now, I'm starting a set for my daughter.

Although you only get 2 red wine and 2 white wine (smaller than normal size - bowls) - this is still an AWESOME DEAL!

I have other riedel higher end glasses but for everyday these are very nice . Good stemware is a must for any wine lover !
