Moving from more traditional stemware to the modern equivalent is a short, but an emotional experience. Good size and fit for the hand, plus easy to clean - just throw in the top rack of the dishwasher. Friends who own these glasses insist on handwashing them, but they aren't so fragile that they require that. Riedel is tops in maximizing tasting experience with their glasses - these are no exception. The pricing on this set of 8 is a good deal based on my shopping for these glasses over the last few years.
