We use these storage caps continually during the year, and have given many away to friends and family. We also usually include a cap when we return canning jars to friends who have brought us their canned products (jellies, jams, etc.), and they are most appreciative.

Get more use from your Ball jars by using these reusable storage lids rather than the canning lids. I now find I'm going to my ball jars, rather than a plastic baggy or plastic container for storage in my freezer or refrigerator because of the new storage lid. I believe using glass for cooking and storage is healthier for my family and for the environment. Thanks for adding this new lid to your line of canning products.

Being brand new to canning, I was very happy to find these caps. They are a wonderful to use on opened jars when you want to store the contents in the refrigerator. I plan on including a cap with each jar of jam I give as a gift.
