Definitely a value for the price. They will be perfect for everyday use. Weight and balance is just right. My mother, who is 95, uses them to cut EVERYTHING !! (Meat, veggies, even her morning bagels). Seriously, though, I would recommend purchasing this set to anyone looking for a durable and sharp, well-performing set of steak knives. Also, an American product, which is always important to me.
