Made of 24-percent lead crystal by Riedel, these Bordeaux wine glasses are perfectly shaped to enhance the bouquet and flavor of your red wine. This wine glass is recommended for young, full-bodied (more than 12 percent alcohol), complex red wines, such as Bordeaux, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Riojas, that are high in tannin. The distinct bowl shape directs the wine to your sweet-sensitive tastebuds. The generous size allows the bouquet to fully develop. This set of wine glasses is a wonderful complement to any style of dinnerware.
The Vinum line is functional, high quality glass that belongs to the Riedel family of stemware. Introduced in 1986, the Vinum collection was first in a series of stemware in history to be based exclusively on the characteristics of grape varietals, meaning the content commands the shape. Hand wash for lasting results.

This was a great price for a product we have loked into. We like these glasses and have for years but the price has been escalating through the years. I was happy to see this offer for them. Wine glasses do break eventually no matter how careful you are. We have a full set again as well as having some spares to put in storage for later.
