Ingenious idea

Putting a light on a peppermill that illiminates every time you press the button to grind your peppercorns over a salad or other delectable made better by pepper? What an ingenious idea!

My previous battery-operated peppermill gave out after only about a year. I got it for less than 20 bucks at a national discount chain. You get what you pay for. It was very difficult to change the batteries and the construction just didn't stand up to day to day use.

This one is a joy to use. It's easy to change the batteries, though the little device is very hungry, taking 6 AAA's to make it

Great tool

So much easier that a hand grinder..not as fine as I'd like sometimes but small enough that you aren't biting down on pieces of pepper..It's on my gift list for several friends who have arthritis or CPS and shun the hand grinder..wonderful for marinades, soups, stews...I love it...

The light is great

I love this pepper mill, the light is so good to see exactly where the pepper is going, and the reason I bought it is because my husband has lupus and his hands don't work the way they used to and he loves pepper, this mill makes it easy for him to get as much pepper as he wants without the pain of grinding it by hand.

A Pepper Mill is Not a Salt Grinder

The MIU pepper mill is an excellent product--well made, heavy duty metal and other parts, sturdy, performs well. Price is a bit high but acceptable. Milling is adjustable, but the finest grind is still fairly large chunks of peppercorns. If you want to be able to produce finely ground pepper, this design is not for you. Several vendors offered MIU matching salt & pepper mills while others suggested buying two pepper mills and using one for salt. Instructions from MIU, however, warn that the pepper mill will not work for salt. Therefore, we wound up with two pepper mills. If you want both the s&p, buy the set. Looks like this product will last many years. Even the instructions were well written in English.

Had similar pepper mill that this one has replaced; the new one is not as good as it mills too coarse even with fine setting

It's quite the conversation piece.

I was first exposed to this pepper grinder in Italy. As soon as I got home from Italy, I got online to find one. We have used it every day since we received it.

The best pepper mill is the MIU

I have given one of these pepper mills to everyong in the family, encluding some friends. Once they us mine at dinner they all want one The MIU grinds quickly and is a lot quieter that other brands.

Pepper Mill w/Light

Purchased as a birthday gift for Son. He saw ours a year ago and Loved It--wanted one for himself & family. Also bought bottle of mixed peppercorns to go with it.

Quality product with lots of power

I brought it as a gift, but got to use it over the holidays. It is first rate. So powerful, you don't have to wait to get a good amount of pepper like other mills. I highly recommend it. The light is also very bright. Angelina

My favorite Christmas gift

At first I thought it was a dumb product until I started to use it and then I just loved it and so did my husband. Dinner guest came over and they loved it too. I was surprised that it used some many AAA batteries when my sister's just used 4 AA but that is okay. It is a big hit in our household.

Eletric Pepper Mill

I bought this for my mother and she was just trickled to death and loves it for the table.

Very powerfull. It's the talk of the table when I have friends over. Wish it had a finer setting. It puts out some big pepper chunks at times.

Attractive, functional and large capacity

This is my third peppermill....The first was ok. The second had a removable bottom to measure out the pepper for recipes however it it was ALWAYS falling over and the lid would open and peppercorns would empty out EVERYWHERE in the kitchen. I still occasionally find a random peppercorn. I love this for I don't have to wear out my wrist to constantly grind alot of pepper (we use and love a lot of pepper!) Secondly, I LOVE the light so I can really see how much is on the food! I am thrilled over this addition to my kitchen toys. Family and friends are so curious I can tell that this would be a great gift for them in the future. Salt mill is also available!

This one replaced one that I had for years. The only thing I was worried about was the one I had had no light but cover on bottom to keep pepper from getting on any thing. So far pepper has not leaked on counter with no cover on bottom. I have bought several different ones with battery. It's so much easier than grinding by hand.

TOO PRICEY!

THIS PEPPERMILL WORKS PRETTY GOOD, BUT IT'S TO EXPENSIVE FOR THE QUALITY.
