Kid/cooking/baking/grilling timer

When you are so busy and only have two hands, this little number is perfect. I bake bread and have 3 different times I need constantly. This timer works perfectly for those days. When I have kids in time out... each one with a different time... (PERFECT!!) cooking on the stove and grilling outside... same thing, I cannot get enough of this timer. Even when you have baked goods that require a little ext5ra something something, this will let you know when to expect things to happen (the timer also works in reverse!)

Very nice, easy to use timer.

Would prefer that the unit could be turned off completely.
Does not need a clock running all the time when sitting in
a drawer.

Very good, but complicated

I love having 3 timers to choose from, but it is a little complicated to use. Some people may find it too hard. Overall, I love it after I figured it out.

Great timer for every cook

It took me a couple of tries to get comfortable with this timer. However, now that I understand how it works, I love it. I can time the oven, the grill and the pasta on the stovetop all at once. I love the recall feature, too. It is handy and simple and something every cook should have.

Too Complex For Cooking Use

If, while cooking, you want to set a timer for a couple of minutes, it may take a couple of minutes to set it. So it is useless. If you want to set it for a longer time, it still will take a couple of minutes to set it, but likely as not, you will have set it wrong.

I don't have a clue why a cooking magazine recommended this unit.
