Excellent cutting board

I'm very pleased with this product and plan on buying one of the larger boards in the near future. This cutting board has been exemplary with the breaking down of meats, and the prepping of vegetables and fruits. It does not dull my knives, nor slide around on the counter. Clean up is a breeze, just pop it in the dishwasher, and its thin shape facilitates easy storage. Since I ascribe to the Alton Brown theory that every tool in the kitchen needs to do double duty, it makes a very fine hot pad for my iron cookware. It's a bonus that it is also made in the US, something that always pleases me.

Convenient

I find myself reaching for these cutting boards more often than my big chopping block because they are so light, easy to clean, and go into the dishwasher. For messy jobs, like raw chicken or meat, this is particularly handy.

The Cleanest Cutting Board Yet

This board gets few if any cuts or scratches in it when used with straight-edged knives. It cleans up extremely well, and although it is thin and easy to store taking up little space, it is also very stable. It does not slip on the counter top, and, most important, it cleans up better than any type of material I have ever used. Keeping cutting boards clean and bacteria-free is so essential, and this board makes it simple. I scrub it with soapy water with a brush in all directions on both sides, and it never holds the smell of any traces of food. I HIGHLY recommend this cutting board for all food uses. This one is my second addition, and now that there are several other sizes, I will be adding more, I'm sure.

We have a couple of these richlite cutting boards and like them very much. Nice to work with, they don't seem to stain, they don't take up much room, and they can go right in the dishwasher.

Superb material

Did not know what to expect, but I couldn't be happier with this cutting board. It's light weight, extremely easy on my knives, and nothing but nothing seems to stain it. I plan to purchase another larger one soon. Richlite is a cool, environmentally responsible company too.

Pleased with cutting board

I'm really pleased with these boards. I purchased two sizes to replace the flexible grocery store boards.

Nice to use when you don't need a huge chopping block.

Nice board....too slippery

I like using this chopping board except for it's constant slipping around and twisting as I chop. It washes beautifully in the dishwasher and the black color is much nicer looking than the brown that looks like cardboard. But it does need rubberized corners.

Excellent cutting surface

I bought this to replace a plastic cutting board I had. This has been great. It is light in weight and is easy to clean. I have used it as a hot plate with no issues. Dishwasher safe. No oiling or maintanence needed.

Cutting Board Review

This is a good cutting board but it did have a weird chemical smell that took many washings to get rid of.

I had a friend recommend this cutting board to me and I have to say it is a great item. I have found that plastic cutting boards dull knifes and with the bacteria issue with wood I wanted an alternative. This board does not dull knifes and is more like a wooden board in that manner and is dishwasher safe.

Good board, good material

This is a really good cutting board for a good price. It is also the perfect size - not too big and not too small. The 15 x 11 inch gives you enough room to cut up vegetables and leave them on the board, which makes it easier to put in soups, stews and the like (no getting stuck in a bowl). I also got the natural color and I like that color. Natural color cutting board doesn't show much in the way of scratches. I have been using it for weeks and it still looks really nice. I would definitely purchase it again.

Excellent Cutting Board

I actually bought this cutting board to give as a gift. I own two of them and have given two as gifts and everyone loves them. Not as clunky as a wood cutting board, I can toss it in the dishwasher and it slides easily into the space next to my pans.

great cutting board

I actually have 5 of these cutting boards. I love the way they look and perform. I use two on the top of my stove to cover the glass top burners. They wash in the dishwasher and it cleans perfectly. I have had one of them for 4 years and it looks great still.

I like this cutting board. But it marrs easy.
