While I like the style of this product and am generally a big fan of the Cuisinart brand, I did not like this particular item. I'm not sure if it's the two-piece design or the tightness of the piece fittings, but the entire device wobbles when it's on. I have a one-piece hand blender by another brand maker, which is less expensive, performs well, and is very stable, so I feel I have better control of the device and the food I'm working with.

This blender is awesome...easy to use and the attachments are great. It's easy to use and clean and I like the fact that it can be used in a pot on the stove.

Great Product

This is an immersion blender but it also has a whisk and chopper attachment. The chopper comes with a container and works like a food processor, very useful. The only drawback is that the cord is not that long, so you'll need an outlet nearby.

Great handmixer

I hate dragging my large mixer out all the time.This is my first hand mixer and I love it. The ease of use is more than I expected. Wonder why did not buy one earlier.

outstanding immersion blender

I was going to buy a kitchenaid but decided to buy this one instead. It truly is a great blender and I saved quite a bit of money! Would highly reccommend this one.

This was a replacement for an existing hand blender that we have almost worn to death. It is very useful and versatile and doesn't involve as much cleaning as a regular mixer.

powerful, a little heavy

I will probably stick to my regular cuisinart rather than the chopper attachment, but pleased with the results of the blender. It is somewhat like holding a power drill, so be prepared (I am not tall, so end up holding everything in the kitchen higher than I'd like).

Powerful

I have used this to mix up the frozen concentrated orange juice in the morning. It worked so fast, ion just a few seconds! I was sure there were still clumps -- but there were none! I am looking forward to using it in cream soups, as that is the main reason I bought it. I have used the chopper attachment to mince up onions beautifully. I recomment only 1/4 onion at a time, but it is quick and works great. I do think that that motor is a little too strong for the whisk attachment. I tried it once in a liquid, and it just splattered everywhere. Probably won't use that attachment again. But the immersion blender is a huge YES, as well as the chopper.

The product will provide years of use and I'm positive that I'll find many uses as time passes. I do find it heavy to work with, and I was disappointed when i read I could not use it to mash potatoes. Other than that fine.

This hand blender is terrific! I use it at least 4 times a week. It is very easy to use and the chopper attachment is great. I don't have to pull out my big food processor for smaller jobs. The way it comes apart makes washing it so easy.Love it!

Good value compared to others , e.g. Kitchenaid. I like the little chopper attachment as well.

Enjoyed using this blender. Made quick work of blending. Would have liked to have at least another speed for whisking. The whisk that came with this was too big and you need to have a really big mixing bowl to be able to whisk eggs properly.

No Power

I purchased this product based on Cuisinart's reputation to replace my Braun Hand Blender which had a worn cord where it inserts into the top/motor portion. I'm sorry I went with the Cuisinart. Even my "fall-back" blender, a Philips, is more powerful. The Cuisinart just hangs on the wall & was a waste of money. I'll replace the motor section of my Braun & know it'll do the job. I a hand blender to blend a protein drink daily that uses frozen strawberries, chunks of frozen banana, water & protein powder.

fast, efficient & easy to use & easy clean-up

The immersion blender works quite well, and I am very satisfied with it. The chopper attachment (mini food processor?) I have not found to be not very useful the few times I have used it. Did not do a good job on nuts (Carpathian walnuts or pecans). If I had it to do over, I would look for the blender without the attachment.

Just the right gift

This hand blender is very useful in making soups, baby foods, and chopping up anything that you can think of. It was the perfect gift for my son and his wife, and the new granddaughter .

speedy

this little blender whips big jobs down to size and provides ease to whatever cooking challenge. Mashed potatoes come out so creamy and whipping ceam is fluffy and smooth. It chops nuts quick a s wink.

It's one tool every kitchen definately needs.

Hand blender works very well for soups. The whisk attachment also makes very good whipped cream.

A little hard to maneuver but otherwise great

This is my first stick blender, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Overall, it works well. I love the mini chopper--that's the most-often used. The blending head itself seems very small and it struggled mightily to whip mashed potatoes and instead of whippig them, managed to turn them into a gluten-y mess. The whisk attachment is great as well, though it doesn't sit in there very securely. My one request would be for different blending speeds. The button is also a little bit hard to hold down while you are trying to blend. But with nothing to compare it to, I'd say this is a pretty good product.
