I chose this blender because it was top-rated for the money by America's Test Kitchen, Cook's Country and Cook's Illustrated magazine and websites.
Making pesto took two minutes, smoothies with frozen bananas and ice cubes took no time at all and the ice /banaa was crushed and mixed perfectly, without any separate chunks floating in the mix.
Strong motor, choice of speeds, easy to break down and clean. Dishwasher-safe cleanng, great seal on the lid prevents bubble--ups and makes it a joy to use, Highly recommend this blender to other cooks. Also great as a bar blender nfor making frozen drinks and other cocktails.
