Kitchenaid bowl

by walter, MS

Got this for my 85 year old mother who loves to bake. Her old bowl did not have the handle and it made it hard for her to manage. She loves the new bowl and can pour and move the bowl much better now.

Didn't have this feature on the bowl with the mixer, but am very happy to have this bowl now.

A "must-have"!

by Linda, VA
February 16, 2010

A second bowl for my KitchenAid was a must. Especially with a handle! I was disappointed that the stock bowl did not have a handle. Those bowls are large and heavy (especially loaded). A handle is necessary, not just a luxury.

Just what I wanted. Having the handle makes the bowl much easier to work with.

Mixing Bowl

I needed a bowl with a handle for easier handling when I'm scraping the bowl. I couldn't find one locally, so was pleased to find it in the Food Network Store. It fit my mixer perfect and I love it!

Extra Bowl

by Alison, MD
May 17, 2011

Love having an extra bowl for my kitchen aid mixer. Now I don't have to quick transfer and wash my original bowl when the recipe calls for ingredients to be prepared individually before combining, like egg whites or whipping cream.

Love the handle.

by Carolyn, CA

I use my mixer almost on a daily basis & had to wash the bowl numerous times to use again. The new one with the handle helps tremendously as I have arthritis & its easier to use the handle instead of having to grip the entire bowl.
I use my mixer for everything, mixing burger for meatloaf, macaroni salad, mashed potato salad, etc.
Not only the bowl, but the mixer itself makes my life easier & my wrists are "happy campers"!

I think $40 - $50 is too much for a mixing bowl. However, since I have a Kitchenaide mixer, I don't have a choice. You really do need to have at least 2 bowls to bake effecientley.

I bought this because i needed an additional bowl for my cakes that I make. I love my kitchenAid mixer and would not have anything else in my kitchen. Having two bowls is the greatest.

Difference in original bowl...

by Anne, NJ
September 28, 2012

First let me say, I love the "handle"! It's easy to grab and manuever. The only thing is you can tell the difference in the metal of the bowl. The original is much more sturdier. This one is not as thick. All in all, I love it!

Great secondary bowl

by Denise, IL
November 13, 2012

I bought this bowl as a second for my mixer. It is slightly smaller than my original, but still fits in the bottom lock. Same good quality that Kitchen Aid provides. I only wish that the handle was rounded instead of flat.

Nice to Have

by Lenora, CA

I love having a second bowl for making Tiramsu. Having a second mixing bowl makes beating the whites in one bowl then having a second bowl to mix the yolk mixture. Having the two bowls saves time and effort in making this yummy desert!
