Quality and design are fine, but I will not give this product a good rating because Cooking.com incorrectly stated it's origin is USA. It was made in Korea and I wouldn't have bought it if I knew this. I have nothing against Korea but I put the USA first when I spend my money.

Wasn't What I Expected

Since I enjoy baking and cooking, I thought it would be good to have a second mixer bowl. When I ordered the 4.5-qt. mixing bowl with handle by KitchenAid, I thought I was ordering a duplicate of the mixing bowl that came with my KitchenAid mixer. The one that came with the mixer has a thick, comfortable handle. I didn't see, nor did I read in the description of the bowl I ordered that the handle would be a thin one. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis so it is very uncomfortable on my hands to use. The one saving grace is that it fits into the mixer better than my other.

The bowl is very useful and well designed. The only thing I don't like is that the handle is very thin and hard on the hand when the bowl is full.

Great add-on for Kitchenaids!

Second bowl for our Artisan Mixer.. so handy for all our mixing needs, especially cakes (one for cake, one for frosting) fancy merangue pies, or busy baking days!

Great Bowl!

I should have bought another bowl for my KitchenAid stand mixer years ago. So when my daughter gave me a gift certificate, I just had to buy this one. The handle is so convenient (my original bowl does not have one) and easy to use.

I love the 4 1/2 qt. mixing bowl with the handle it is so much easier to handle. Especially when you are mixing something warm.

I am extremly happy with my mixer bowl. The service was very prompt, and the product in perfect condition.

Excellent Product a bit expensive

Great bowl. Why does cuisinart make it so hard to buy different bowls. I relize that there are different sizes of bowls, but the bottoms should all match. Be sure you get the 4.5 qt if that is the size of our mixer. Basically, I spent all this money for a handle, something the orignal bowl should have had anyway. The handle does make it easier to pour.

It is great to have an extra bowl when baking. It allows me to make muliple batches with out stopping after each one.

Extra mixing bowl

I purchased this to use as an extra mixing bowl. I wish I had bought two of them. Seems like everything I make requires washing out the bowl to start the second part of the recipe. I'm going to order another one.

Great 4.5 qt Kitchenaid Mixing Bowl

I don't know why I waited so long to get a replacement bowl with a handle. I love it. The quality is excellent and fits my KitchenAid mixer perfectly.

My fantastic mixing bowl

It's just a mixing bowl with handle but I love it. My new mixer onlt came with a plain bowl so I wanted this one. It's big and pretty and was so much cheaper here than from anywhere else I looked. I was very please with the speed in which it got here and I'm sure I'll be come back to cooking.com again and again.

It is good but little on the hight side on price.

I am disabled with my hands when fatigued. I love this bowl with the handle when I am mixing with my Kitchenaide mixer, or need a bowl that I have to empty into something else. I can hold and scrape at the same time. God bless you.

Love having a back up bowl so I don't have to stop and wash while doing the baking. Keeps things flowing smoothly.

THE HANDLE

I love using this Mixing Bowl. The handle is more convience to use than holding on to the bottom of the bowl, plus, it gives me a chance to use two (2) bowls which make things quicker.

Not your fault, KitchenAids'. The bowl doesn't quit fit, but my mixer is 32 years old, so didn't really expect perfect. By the way it's still working well. So I only have great things to say about my model K45 Mixer. If it ever dies on me I will purchase another KitchenAid.
