I have, for a long time, thought it would be smart to have an extra mixing bowl on hand. The reasons for having an extra are many - for example, at Thanksgiving. One bowl gets dirty with pumpkin pie filling and the extra bowl can be lounging in the refrigerator so that it's cold enough for the whip cream.

I HAD BEEN WANTING AN ADDITIONAL BOWL, BUT COULDN'T JUSTIFY THE COST. I BOUGHT IT DURING A SALE AND THAT MADE IT AFFORDABLE FOR ME. SO GLAD TO HAVE THE EXTRA BOWL!!!!

So many times I have been in the process of baking and had to stop to wash out the bowl and beater to move on to stage two of production. I have always had a second beater, but the cost of that second bowl always put that purchase on the back burner. I am SO glad I took advantage of the KitchenAid 20% off sale and invested in this. It has made my baking life so much easier!Even at full price, I am kicking myself for having waited so long to invest in this. Don't wait - if you use your mixer as often as I do (3+ times a week on average) it is something you need to do!

I bought 3 kitchenaid 6qt mixer bowls for making 200 dz cookies; this has been a great asset for making large amount of cookies. Will be buying one more kitchenaid 6qt mixer and 3 more 6qt mixing bowls for a second station.
