I cook a lot. I have used many graters in the past. This grater is by far one of the better ones to come along in a long time. The blades are sharp and angled perfectly. The handle grip is a great assist for my arthritis and the non-skid base on the grater itself as well as the container is a plus. I like this grater even more than the one that attaches to my mixer because I can control my amounts better and it cuts more evenly. Convenient cup for storing leftovers. Note: slicer on side could be a better design but I like my knives for that duty.

My mom taught me to always try new things and was an avid recipe enthusiast! So, I have a deep appreciation for cooking, making, and baking in the kitchen! And, I'm always anxious to find new tools to help me! So, when I won a $25 gift card to Steamy Kitchen I was beside myself! I desperately needed a grater. Not a cheap, flimsy, awkward grater...but something easy to use (and clean) and something handy. I was thrilled to receive the grater so quickly and immediately put it to use shredding zucchini...for bread and freezing! August in Maine means zucchini overload. The Good Grips Box Grater was easy to manipulate and I absolutely love the measurement marked storage container that attaches at the bottom! I know exactly how much I have grated...no second-guessing anymore...or transferring grated food to other containers! Before, I was always collecting stray pieces of food from the floor, counter, and the counter backsplash...not with this grater! Thanks so much for a great quality product that does a thorough job! It cut down on how much time I had to spend on this step while cooking! Thanks, again!
