Disappointing product

I expected a product by Cuisinart to be of high quality. This spice grinder is a bust! I tried to grind cinnamon sticks and got only fairly large chunks - too large to use in recipes calling for powdered cinnamon. I haven't even bothered to try using it for other spices.

Same difference as Coffee Grinder

That sums it up; blades are still too high from the base of the bottom of the unit. Could have not bothered.

Best grinder I've ever seen!

I have to grind up all of my vitamins, as I am unable to swallow pills due to lap band surgery. I burned up several coffee grinders trying to get my daily vitamins prepared. This grinder is phenomenal! It grinds much faster, and much finer, than anything I have tried, and is so easy to use. No fighting to get the lid off and on. No having to filter out pieces that were missed. No cloud rising when I take the lid off. OH -- and it does just as great a job on my SPICES, too! What a terrific product!!! How could anyone be disappointed in something this good?!

Spice and Nut Grinder

A great kitchen tool. If your receipt(s) start with a lot of seed spices (such as curry) that need to be ground before adding it to the pot, then you want this to be on your kitchen counter. A lot easier and faster than a pestle and mortar.
