  • MOST HELPFUL REVIEWS

  • Although it is a little expensive; this is a great jar for storing flour, sugars, etc. It isn't too tall to fit on cabinet shelves and the wide mouth accomodates scoops and measuring utensils easily. The screw-on lid keeps air and moisture out. I bought several for my baking supplies, pastas, etc.

    I recommend this product.

  • Unbeatable Capacity

I went looking for a glass cookie jar with a relatively airtight lid, and found this one. It's got great capacity -- holds nearly five dozen cookies -- and because it's clear, you can always see whether or not you need to make more cookies! The cookies tasted just as fresh on the third day as they did on the first day, which was another plus. Definitely a keeper!

    I recommend this product.

  • I love this cookie Jar! It seals very well....cookies stay fresh for several days, and very large. Holds at least 3 dozen large cookies. Probably about 4 dozen smaller ones. And Really looks inviting on the kitchen counter.

    I recommend this product.

  • Lid is a bit combersome, otherwise a neat cookie jar.

  • Glass Storage Jar

This is a very handy item for lots of things -- cookies, dog treats, licorice sticks, shelled peanuts. It's not 100% air tight, but things stay fresh as long as they need to. Cooking.com has a good price on them, too.

    I recommend this product.

  • Versatile product

I bought these to make holiday table decorations. Luckily they all arrived in good condition. The price was a bit higher 9.99 each versus Target in store price of 4.99 but Cooking.com was the only place that had them in stock at the time.

    I recommend this product.

  • Overpriced

This IS a great jar. However, it's overpriced. After purchasing it here, I saw it in the store for $4.99 each. So I could have gotten two for the price of this one. I say shop around. I found the exact same jar at my local Walmart. Check yours.

    I recommend this product.

  • Utter simplicity -- a rectangular shape which fits nicely on a shelf and offers instant view of the contents. The lid screws down tightly, protecting freshness. I'll take this over the most beautiful canisters.

    I recommend this product.

  • I use it to store coffee beans which I order in 5 lb lots. Anchor Hocking puts out great glass storage products, this is no exception. I wish only that they made a larger storage jar that would hold the full 5 lbs. of beans, so I'm ordering a second one. Solid and sturdy with a really tight screw-top lid. Worth every penny.

    I recommend this product.

  • We actually use these as gifts filled with candy for our customers. We put a sticker with our logo on the front, filled it with candy and delivered. They worked very well for this.

  • This is a good deal. The jar is a heavy glass, and the brushed chrome lid fits on tight to keep the cookies fresh. I hate the look of most cookie jars out there, and the fact the lid usually just sits on top. This is a large jar that can easily hold 2 packages of oreo double stuffs!!
It is a nice compliment to the stainless accessories on my countertop. You may find one similar at Wal-mart, but I don't think it would be as solid, plus it's so easy and quick to order online.

    I recommend this product.
