This cookie jar is a nice jar and I love the vintage look. However the lid is really cheap and I not only had trouble getting it on but it's already dented and therefore I can't use the lid. Other than that it is an ok jar. I actually found the same jar or what looked like the same jar at Wal-mart for about $7.

The first one we got had a lid that would not fit. Cooking.com sent out a replacement promptly, and it was fine. For what it is, and for the price, it's ok.

We actually use these as gifts filled with candy for our customers. We put a sticker with our logo on the front, filled it with candy and delivered. They worked very well for this.

I love these jars. They can hold cookies, snacks, and you could also put your hot chocolate mix in it along with a hot tea mix drink. The possibilities are endless. You could even take it out of the kitchen and use it in the nursery, craft room or bathroom. If you have more than one you'll find multiple uses for them.

THE JARS ARE JUST WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR. I USE THEM FOR COUNTER STORAGE....COOKIES, CRACKERS, PASTA...MOST ANYTHING. THESE ARE A GREAT SHAPE, BIG ENOUGH TO HOLD LARGE QUANTITIES AND LOOK GOOD, TOO!

The lids for these jars don't work right. They are very hard to get to line up correctly and definitely don't fit snug. I had water pour out of mine when it was tipped to the side.

I use it to store coffee beans which I order in 5 lb lots. Anchor Hocking puts out great glass storage products, this is no exception. I wish only that they made a larger storage jar that would hold the full 5 lbs. of beans, so I'm ordering a second one. Solid and sturdy with a really tight screw-top lid. Worth every penny.
