We like this kind of coffee maker because we make the coffee early in the morning and drink it over the next four or five hours. It tastes just as good at the end as in the beginning. Many pots shut off after a few hours, and many pots don't keep the coffee hot. So this pot suits us very well.

My in-laws are 95 and 93 years young. They are both self sufficicent and live alone. My Father in -law actually still goes to our Commercial Real Estate Office everyday.
Recently their 30 year old percolator quit working. They were not looking forward to learning how to use the new drip system coffee makers.
I decided to search the web and came upon your web site right away.
We were all thrilled to find an exact relacement for the "coffee pot" they have used for so many years. We paid for overnight delivery so they missed only a day or two of their morning coffee.
The replacement percolator not only is what they have been used to it has larger lettering for reading ease.
Thank you for producing products for ALL AGES
This percolator makes an excellent cup of coffee. Has a much more substantial power cord than any other percolator I've used.

Percolators make superior coffee, compared to most automatic drip coffee makers. I chose a percolator because I have well-water which is extremely hard on appliances. I expect this percolater to last much longer with fewer clogging issues than a drip coffee maker. For those who have never used a percolator: You do end up with a few extra grounds in the cup. Normal practice is to toss the bottom of the cup along with the grounds that have settled there. You can grind your coffee a little coarser and wet the basket to minimize the grounds in the coffee. Another plus - no more filters are needed. The only drawback is that there is not an automatic shut-off. The flip side of that is that you can keep you coffee warm for hours without burning it.

Through the years my husband & I have purchased several percolators and they all seem to suffer the same demise . . . burnout of heating element!!
This percolator seems to be constructed way better than the other brands we've had and I totally recommend it . . . and most importantly it makes great coffee!!!!
