Happy to report

I purchased this product for my sister. She has been using it since I gave it to her over a week ago. She prefers the tongs over spoons when cooking and she has been happy every since. Now if I can just get her to stop thanking me.

overall a good value for the money. Wasn't sure about the grips at first, but love them, gives good control.

So much better than the scissor type tongs. So easy to turn food, no hand pain. Think I'll order at least 1 more!

Finally. Perfect Tongs!

OXO has here hit a grand slam! From design to sturdy quality construction, these are the tongs I've searched for during more than 50 years of cooking. They're adept at properly handling any cook's 'perfect' creation - from a delicate stalk of asparagus to lifting a bulky and heavy pot roast.The tips don't damage the food product yet grip it securely. The tips are even nicely curved for scooping sauces etc. for tastings. The black pads on each arm are very comfortable in use and add helpful leverage. The locking mechanism is ideal.

The rubberized handles make these tongs easy on the hands, especially when using them for a long time.

The best feature of these tongs is the lock which allows storage without taking up so much room. They are also very user friendly. Just the right size for the grill. I highly recommend them.

Perfect for the smaller grill...

When I'm not using the big smoker/grill, these babies work great.
They're also good indoors for grabbing things out of the oven; turning
things over in the cast-iron skillet/dutch oven and even for delicate
items in the toaster oven.

Versatility and a good value

These tongs have a multitude of uses, and I especially like the grip which makes them easier to handle. Great value!

I love most OXO products, and this one does not disappoint. I was even able to handle wet lasagna noodles easily.

Good overall

This is a great tong since it is made out of stainless steel and it also locks. The grip is easy on hands and 12-in is the perfect size for all jobs.

the only thing I would change about the product is the curvy ends. Although i realize it is made so to hold food well but the cleaning afterwards is bit of pain since food gets stuck inside and between.

i haven't bought it yet but i heard about the new improved tongs by OXO which has the easy clean ends. i think i'll try that one and compare the 2.

Overall, this is a great tong and i'm happy to have bought it! :-)

Great everyday tongs

These tongs are so handy that we find we are using them almost every day. The locking feature makes them easy to store. They are the perfect length and were a great value.

Great tongs

Tongs are either very good or very bad, there is little in the middle. These tongs have an excellent grip, long to reach into dishes in the oven, and very sturdy. An excellent tool and the cost is not that pricey either.

My husband is very picky about his tongs, and these are in his eyes, the best. Easy to use, clean, close and store.

Great tongs. Have a rubber grip and a pull-stop at the end that locks the tongs closed. My husband loves them for grilling!

Tongs with a grip

Even my husband was impressed with this tool, and he's usually skeptical about claims to fame. When Cook's Illustrated/America's Test Kitchen tested this model as the best, I couldn't wait to buy it.
