Serious fryer, easiest cleanup ever!
June 27, 2007
This is my 7th or 8th fryer in about 10 years. I have been so disappointed with many of the less expensive models, and even with some of the more expensive units. The oil draining system on this unit is an outstanding design, and makes cleanup easier than any other model I've had. It's very well-built. I am sure I will be using this unit for years to come!

Cutting edge design!!

Wings, beer-batter fish, onion rings. Quick oil heat up, good capacity, and consistent temperature regulation give great results.
Completely dishwasher safe (except for heating element of course) makes cleanup nonexistent. The oil drain reservior/ filter system is GENIUS!
The only bad thing I could say is that this thing is big.
I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a deep fryer.

Best deep fryer on the market!
February 13, 2007
You never touch the oil! When the oil cools it drains automatically into a container that I store in the refrigerator. Everything else goes in the dishwasher(except heating element). Cooks great and clean-up is a cinch!

Pros: Heats up very quickly, is light and works very well is easy to clean in the dishwasher.
Cons: Unit drains very slowly and does not hold all the oil when filled to the MAX level.

Not the best I've owned, but good
July 20, 2008
Previous to this we had a somewhat similar fryer by a different manufacturer--it had a key element that I really miss--a timer which beeped when the oil was at the right temperature, so ready, and when whatever time you set on it was up. I can use the stove timer for the latter, but have to keep checking to see if the indicator light has gone off for the first, and sometimes you get distracted.
I also think this fryer doesn't get as hot as the other one. I haven't checked the actual temperature of the oil with a separate thermometer, but it seems I need to set the fryer's temp a little higher than whatever is recommended for the food I'm cooking.
Finally, on the down side--if you use the cleaning function and drain the oil, complete the process immediately. I switched the knob to drain at one point, then forgot I had done it and the next time I turned the fryer on there was some major smoke. I caught it quickly or it could have been bad. It would be nice if the knob was turned to drain the fryer wouldn't go on. Anyway, lesson learned--hopefully.
Other than all that it is fine. Isn't making me dance a jig or anything, but it will do.

Over all I am very pleased with this fryer. Storing the grease in the bottom container and besides that it filters the oil to be reused again and again. I would definitely recommend this to all my family and friends.

My Wings love it!
February 11, 2007
I have to say we love this fryer. I had a T-Fal one for many years, that served us well, but was very messy and hard to clean. This fryer is like a commercial one.
First, after cooking it is easy to store the oil and strain it by a flip of the switch. Then you can easily clean the insides in the sink or dishwasher. I cant tell you how easy it is to keep this fryer clean, I actually dont mind doing i now.
The oil seems to last longer with a fresher taste since I strain it every time we use it.
The storage is great for the oil to be in the compartment under the fryer! No more looking for coffee cans to store it in.
I really cant say enough about it, I just wish I had more kitchen space on my counters for it!!!!

TFal Fryer

It is nice and deep so my chicken can fry and onion rings are covered. It regulates temperature nicely so you don't get a big drop in temperature when you place the food in the oil. It comes to temperature quickly. Best of all, It is the easiest to clean that I've ever had!!!! I love how easy it is to clean!!!
Only one small thing. I would love to have the lid hinged. I can't see how you can though without the price really increasing or losing the cleaning flexibility. I'd definitely pay more for this. I got excellent value.

Wonderful addition to any kitchen
September 18, 2007
I have had many deep fryers but, this one is by far the most user friendly I have had. It filters the oil and holds in the lower chamber which saves lots of money on oil. I would recommend this to anyone. I wish I had got it sooner.

Over all the best I have ever had and I live off deep fryers...The only way they could improve this is by making handle on fry basket detachable

the unit does a fine job of deep frying.
CONS.
The oil container is not large enough.
The main fryer frame is not sturdy ,you have to be careful as not to bend it out of shape while cleaning.
The deep fyer oil container is very thin, the oil temp quenches very quickly.

so-so

Frying part works very good, but the automatic filtering is a joke. All it does is make a huge mess, by dumping oil over the top of the container. it is about 50-50 as to how much oil actually get into the container.

We really like the features of this deep fryer. The oil filter, drain and storage is wonderful. It heats up in good time and holds a good quantity. The cord attaches magnetically which is a great safety feature. Everything goes in the dishwasher (except the element), what's not to love about that! It does take up some space but that is to be expected. I would like to have seen the stainless steel exterior a little thicker, even if it adds to the weight, which isn't bad. I would buy this deep fryer again and now that my brother has seen it I think they are going to get one too.

GREAT FIND
March 16, 2009
When I received the fryer it was larger then I thought it was going to be. I don't have a dishwasher and it was so easy to take apart and clean. I was truly surprised. It does take up a big space so be a little careful about that but other than that, the fryer is wonderful.

this deep fryer is quick and easy to use. I especially like the oil storage and the filter for your next use. The basket is large enough to load for a family of 4.

temperature dial numbers smeared.
November 20, 2007
The fryer has been good. It seems to keep temperature and makes the best frys! One thing I am not pleased about is the steam hits the temp dial and the painted numbers smeared when touched.
