Measuring cups

These measuring cups are in a class of their own. They're heavy but beautifully balanced. They're easy to put into a bag of sugar or flour or use for liquids. After buying them, I learned that Cooks Illustrated recommends them.

These measuring cups are perfect for pouring ingredients into the mixing bowl while the mixer is on. The oval shape allows you to empty the contents of the cup into the bowl without loosing any of the ingredient onto the countertop.

Great heavy duty construction. I can put them in the dishwasher without worrying that they will warp or melt. Love the oval design for scooping and dumping in smaller bowls. The only thing I miss is an 1/8 of a cup measure for splitting recipies with a 1/4 cup measurement. Odd size measuring cups of this set are also available, but that set does not include an 1/8 cup either. Most people I have talked to about this "problem" never had an 1/8 cup and never thought about it, but I like to have compelete sets and I miss that option.

Solid, professional-grade cooking tools...

If you're looking for a well made, solid set of measuring cups that will last almost forever, look no more. I'm picky and wanted the best - sure these are more expensive than your average set, but as is generally true, you get what you pay for... The tall, deep sides of the larger sizes can perform double duty as a small melting pot on your stove, and their oval shapes can fit more easily into narrow storage containers.

Beautiful and easy to use but a bit heavy...they knocked over my counter top cup and spoon rack.

Defective.

Although these are wonderful, solid, attractive measuring cups, my 1 cup measure was misprinted as 1/2 cup...it must have been a production error. However, when I contacted Cooking.com, they did promptly replace the defective cup. I am now very satisfied with my set!

Quality has been better

I bought a new set of Cuisipro measuring cups as a gift and while they look identical to the ones I own myself (bought several years ago), immediately I noticed that they felt lighter than my set, which is stamped "18-10 stainless steel" on the bottom of each piece. There is no such stamp on the new set, probably because it is an inferior gauge of stainless steel. Still a decent set of cups, but more tippy because they are not as heavy.

I bought these cups as a Christmas gift for my sister who requested good quality measuring cups. I was very pleased with the weight and quality of these cups when they arrived. I thought my cups were good but these were even better. Definitely would recommend. These would make a great, affordable wedding gift that would last a lifetime!

Excellent heavy-duty quality. I sought out the narrower oval design which allows for easier access into smaller access containers. The best I've used or seen so far. They are heavy, but I view that more as a testament to their quality.

These are the nicest measuring cups I have ever had! I just wish they had the additional measures as well...ie 3/4, 2/3, etc. They are a sturdy measuring cup so the handles won't bend easily like others I have had. Great product!

These are excellent, heavy quality measuring cups. The oval shape makes it easy to dip into narrower containers. I highly recommend them.

Great to work with

These measuring cups are heavy, long-handled, oval-shaped and very convenient to use. They fit in containers that some others wouldn't; the long handles allow you to reach ingredients that might be low in their containers; and their weight and shape assures that they will not spill over or tip if placed on the counter top.

Great Measuring Cups!

These measuring cups are of heirloom quality. They feel substantial in the hand, and look beautiful. I'm truly satisfied with the purchase.

I was watching Paula Dean and saw her using stainless measuring cups. Thought they were great looking, and appeared oval, so I searched for the ones Paula used. Wow, beautiful but about $175 and were round. Way to expensive for me, so I found this Steel Oval set, at a reasonable price, and am very happy with them. They have a good weight to them and I'll have them forever! They arrived very quickly and have been used a lot.

Haven't used yet

The oval measuring cups were delivered with (2) 1/2 cups. The one cup measurer was actually mislabeled as 1/2 cup. Your customer service department is working to fix this problem. The product itself may be good but whoever made these slipped up grandly. This could be such a problem if you use the 1 cup thinking it is 1/2 cup. Your customer service department has been very helpful, your product disbursement department obviously doesn't double check what they send out. I would give the product an A, your customer service department an A+, your product disbursement department a F.

Great, sturdy measuring cup set

This purchase was a replacement for another set of stainless cups I had to replace because they proved to be not-so-sturdy. These will last forever! Ilike the oval shape. I miss the 3/4 and 2/3 size but these certainly will do. Very pleased with purchase.

Expensive; got cups because I had a gift card.

Great Product

This product is great its oval so it fits perfect when measuring things. Its also heavier than other measuring cups - well worth the extra pennies!
