This grinder make a perfect grind. We have really enjoyed the quality of the grind and think it is a great value. I would recommend this grinder to others and I am very happy with this purchase. I hope it last me a long time. It is not the most stylish grinder on the market, but not bad looking either. I like that is does not take up large amounts of counter space too.

Excellent grinder...consistent grind, easy to operate, and contributes to a great cup of coffee.

This grinder does exactly what it is supposed to do. It can grind coffee however fine or coarse you want it. For $90, it is the best conical burr grinder you can get for the money.

This is a great burr grinder. It's a must for coffee enthusiasts. I bought a french press and needed a grinder that would allow me to change the courseness of the beans. The grinder is solid. The beans are ground even everytime. I have no complaints at all. I will never go back to a blade grinder ever again. I definately recommend this product.

This grinder is fast and quiet, and the grind is very even. The burrs look like they'll last forever. However, a fair bit of coffee remains in the grinding chamber after the grinding is done, so there's a bit of clean-up involved.
Another point, which has nothing to do with the grinder itself, is that the web site listed this as a special price at $139, marked down from something like $169. Jura-Capresso's catalog, included in the package, lists the regular price as $139.
This Conical Burr Coffee Grinder is our first one of its type. We really like it! Especially from using either an antique manual grinder or electric blade-whirrling type. This burr grinder doesn't create static electricity in the ground beans. It's quiet, too. We found that running the grinder for a few extra seconds and giving it a few gentle taps works well in loosening and dislodging the remaining ground beans. There are some grounds that do remain and have to be brushed out. Compared to what we've had in the past, this model is so much nicer and easier to use.

grinds in seconds
no guessing for right grind
no cleaning up messes from ground coffee
quieter than other grinders I have purchased
ease of use
A must for the fresh coffee addict
This grinder is quieter than I expected. It grinds evenly and adjusts easily. The only part I am thrilled about so far, is residue coffee spilling out after the compartment with ground coffee has been removed. No matter how much I shake it before removing the compartment, half a teaspoon falls out as soon as the compartment is removed. Otherwise, a great product

Makes a huge difference over blade grinders for both cappuccino and regular brew coffee. My only complaint I have is this grinder generates a bit of static so the ground coffee sticks to the bottom container. But, for the price, you can't beat this grinder.

Looked at several burr grinders and this had the best reviews for the cost. It is quieter than the Cruisart one, but it does have alot of grind left in the chamber even after it is done grinding. Not a big problem just need to remember to clean it out after a couple of grinds.

For years I have used a blade grinder for my drip coffee. I received a press pot for Christmas and needed a better way to control my grind. This Infinity Conical Burr Grinder is a wonderful step up. Quieter than my old blade and does a good job of adjusting the size of the grind. It leaves a fair amount of residual in the grind chamber, but removing the upper hopper and top burr is effortless so it easy to clean and brush out with the supplied brush.
It is unusual that there is no on/off switch. Instead the timer serves as the power switch. There are times when there are no more beans in the hopper and the unit continues to grind until the timer "times out" and powers off. However you can twist the hopper beyond the course setting and it will power off or unplug it. But that appears to be a minor inconvenince at this time.
Otherwise, this grinder appears to be a good value for around $100. I would recommend it as a gift for someone or if you are upgrading from a blade grinder and are on a budget.
The Capresso grinder has replaced a smaller 2-year old De Longhi that was very messy and not performing very well. The Capresso grinder is first-rate. No regrets whatever about this purchase. Thanks.

The coarsest grind for French press still has some residual powder, but I have yet to see a grinder without that. Much quieter than the competition. Very tight-fitting components, so there is no spillage. So far, virtually no static, but I suspect that might be also a function of the type of beans & their packaging. This is our third burr grinder and is by far the best.
1 of 1 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »Excellent performance. Grinds well & evenly. Easy to handle. Only problems: Hard to clean grinding parts, and too much coffee is left in machine after use.

We've been through the "grind and brew" coffee makers and went back to separate units. This model is by far the best we've found and while I don't think I would pay what is shown as retail, I'd definitely pay double over some other brands.

I hate grinding coffee beans, but this new grinder is easy to use, and it isn't messy with static cling like my two others. I no longer have to ask the barristas to grind it for French Press, which I usually feel bad about when buying beans during morning rush at the coffee house. Makes things easier.
