Very good grinder. Have to practice to find the right grind for your taste but I expected that anyway....

Professional look and operation. Good quality.

Unlike every coffee grinder we have owned before, this grinder is quiet and does not generate a lot of static electricity. The wide choice of grinds is important to us as we regularly use more than one type of coffee maker.

Works well, runs quietly and smoothly, and looks nice on the counter.

Capresso Burr Coffee Grinder

I have purchased multiple Capresso products before and they tend to work well for a few months but then some flaw in their construction (usually the result of Capresso's saving money by using cheap or flimsy components) results in a need to purchase a replacement part or in the inability of the unit to operate (the latter usually after the warranty period). So, I give it an overall rating of "3"; it works fine now (after less than a week of use), but I have my fingers crossed. Check back with me in 18 months to see what I really think of it. I bought this grinder simply because the discounted, "special" price (around 40% off full retail) was too good to pass up and worth the investment even if it conks out in a year or so. NEVER pay full price for a Capresso product; you will be disappointed in the long run.

Quiet and reliable

I've been using the coffee grinder for about 3 weeks. I was surprised how quiet it was. Solid construction and easy to use.

I gave this to my Dad for XMAS and he loved it! I bought this and the Torrefazzione variety pack of whole bean coffee. Now, he's running a coffee shop in his kitchen and couldn't be happier!

Love it!

I love the different grind settings,and mostly use it for the french press. Easy to use, easy to clean, and lets you grind only as much as you want.

I love the burr coffee grinders but this is the third, and last one I got in just a few years. The other 2 just went bad hopefully this will last longer. The coffee comes out good. I've had to start drinking decaf but with the grinding it with this coffee grinder it tastes so much better. It's almost like regular coffee.

This coffee grinder is a really good value and works well - once you figure out what number to set it at for your grind for your coffeemaker!

It's really quiet, too. i'd recommend it for any discerning coffee drinker

Morning jumpstart

I am new to the world of fresh ground coffee. What am amazing difference! I did some research on different grinders and chose this one because of the reviews. All of them were true. The Capresso conical burr gives a very consistent grind, quick and quiet. My only complaint. The last few beans won't fall into the grinder. I have to remove the top and shake them back into the bag.

The only one that works

We own two of these grinders, one in each of our houses. We have had a number of burr grinders over the years and this is the only one that we have owned that works as it should. Even large, dark roasted beans are ground easily to the fine grind required by our coffee maker. We've had our first grinder for more than a year and have never had a problem with it. It is quiet and efficient. Can't say enough good things about this product. Highly recommended!

Finally we're able to produce the fine grind that makes the best espresso---a great, easy-to-use unit!

Solid grinder

The grinder works very well and is a bit more quiet than the last burr grinder I used to own. I'm not sure why there is so much static electricity in the grind but once you pull the grinds out quickly and they fly everywhere ..... you won't do it again. Tapping on it before removing it helps somewhat. I'm happy with the purchase and I expect it will last a long time. For a hundred bucks though I wouldn't consider it a value.
