A good product for certain applications

The only feature that could possibly warrant the price (and shipping cost) of this product would be the automatic filtration system (and I suppose, the Emeril name). It has a somewhat sketchy power attachment using a magnet. This can cause attachment issues in the middle of frying (loss of power). For my purposes, there are other, larger, more reliable fryers available for a third the cost (though they do not filter the oil.

EVERYTHING WORKS OK. NEED A PARTS TO HAVE SOME SPARES ON HAND

Excellent deep fryer. You guys could do better on the price. You should include a whole recipe book or at the very least send out some more cards.

filters perfectly, very easy to clean, cooks quickly

First deep fryer that I,ve used that gets the oil hot enough and keeps it there. Fried fish and frech fries come out crisp and not greasy. Family loved our fish fries. Love it!

Best Deep Fryer Ever !!!!

This is a GREAT deep fryer,
I LOVE the fact that with a turn of a switch the used oil gets drained into a holding tank that first gets put through a very fine screen to filter the used oil. Then the holding tank comes out for storage !!!!!!!
Most of it is also dishwasher safe !!!!

I absolutely love this deep fryer. Best one I ever had. It is sooo easy to use and easy to clean. I put everything in the dishwasher except for the heating element of course. I read a negative review on it prior to purchase about the oil leaking out all over. I can assure you that that person didn't have the knob in the front on the right setting. I love this sooo much that I will be buying my daughter one when she gets married next year.

I buy my products based off of what I need and the Reviews. Someone can tell me how great their product, but I tend to believe the buyers over the co. and advertisements. So when this fryer was rated so high I knew that I was getting a great product and expected nothing less... Thanks Reviewers

Disapointed to say the least.

I got my deep fryer in the mail, and I was totally ready to do some deep frying, but I had read the previous reviews about how it tended to leak. So I put mine together, filled it with water (water is easier to clean up than oil) and it started pouring out, all over my counter. After a few times, adjusting here, checking there... I finally discovered that the drain guard on the bottom of the oil tank was damaged, bent in so the stopper for the tank couldn't fully close. I get ahold of the manufacturer, T-fal, and explained it to them, now I am waiting 4 - 8 weeks for a replacement tank. I don't know if it will work or not, but if I were Emeril, I would take my name off of this product!

Would purchase again

Even though I haven't used it yet, it's much bigger then I thought it would be and looks very easy to use. I really can't wait to use it.

Wonderful Deep Fryer

I love this fryer. It is extremely easy to use and the food comes perfectly crisp. The clean up is the very best part, it is so very easy. Almost everything is dishwasher safe.

The oil is filtered easily and reuse is a wonderful thing! No odor, or nasty taste...I just love this fryer.

It`s every thing i thought it would be.

My son bought one also after i got mine. He likes his just fine. We both like oil recyler . Just to easy. Works great.

MY HUSBAND HAS HAD A FEW DEEP FRYERS. WHEN HE MENTIONED THE "EMRIL" AS ONE HE WOULD LIKE, I ORDERED IT FOR HIS BIRTHDAY. YOU WOULD THINK THAT I HAD GIVEN HIM THE WORLD WHEN HE UNPACKED IT. HE SAID IT IS EVERYTHING THAT IT WAS ADVERTISED TO BE. THE DRAIN AND FILTER ARE NUMBER ONE WITH HIM. I DON'T THING THAT THERE IS ANYTHING THAT HE DOES'NT LIKE ABOUT THIS DEEP FRYER.

EXACTLY what I have been looking for. Everything cooks so nicely in it and the food tastes WONDERFUL! :-) So easy to use, buzzes to let you know when it's hot enough, when food is done, etc. Fool proof....lol You'll LOVE it! The filtration system is fantastic.....no more "crumby" oil! LOVE it!

We love this fryer!

We have cooked everything from onion rings to corn dogs (Alton Brown's recipe of course!) and it does a super job. The clean up is easy. Most of all I love no mess on my stove!

Never had an oil overflow or any promblems like some other feedbacks claim . Everything has when perfect I even bought one for a friend when I saw how nice it was and and how good it worked it does and is everthing it says it is and well do a 10 for sure .Larry

Great Fryer!

I bought this deep fryer as a gift for my husband (the main cook of the house). It fried our food uniformly and without splatter. The smell of order was faint but still recogniizable. we had no trouble with oil spilling over. It is a great fryer! We will be using it alot!
