It works like a corkscrew, removing the flesh in perfectly formed rings leaving the core in the shell. One turn, one slice, or the whole pineapple in one go. With the separate wedger, you can in one simple movement cut the pineapple flesh in equal parts. The wedger can be used on both sides and the convenient grip pads on the sides provide a controlled cutting movement through the pineapple rings. The new grip provides a firm hold and can be released with a single press on the button. The pineapple shell remains intact to be used for serving a desert or fruit salad.
