Great turner
This is a really great turner. I got so sick of plastic or nylon turners that don't turn. I would have broken cookies and broken eggs and various other things it was very frustrating. I know you are not supposed to use metal an teflon type pans but the other kind never worked. If I am careful all will be well.

GREAT product! Very solid and easy to use. Highly recommended for easy flipping and turning your food without things falling apart!

This Slotted Turner is clearly well built and attractive. The handle is very comfortable. The angle of the handle allows getting under food nicely. I would have liked it better if the edge was made thinner. It would slip under the foods more easily although the thickness is less than many Turners. I put the edge through my electric sharpner and reduced the thickness about half. It was still thick enough so it would not cut you.

We've owned one of these slotted turners for a few years now. We also had a terrible plastic cheap one from another company. My husband loved the Calphalon one so much that he would look for it every time he cooked! Well he finally had it with the plastic one and we threw it out. It was always nice to have a couple turners handy so we went ahead and ordered 2 a couple weeks ago. Though they are FAR superior to the cheap plastic one, they aren't as good as the original one we already had. It seems the thickness of the metal went down or something because they are constantly 'popping' when you use them. I can't think of any other way to describe it...when you pick something up to flip, the metal bends down (not totally bent in half but enough for the turner to 'pop' back to shape) then 'pops' back in place. It is still a good utensil, just seems like they got cheaper in the quality.

I purchased this to replace my previous turner that i either lost in a cross country move a while back or it is still packed somewhere in a box in storage. Been using plastic and turners for over a year and couldn't wait to start using this product. Once received, my initial reaction was disappointment due to the flimsiness of the stainless steel and thinness of the head. The more I use the more I like though, effortless lifts pancakes and cookies from pan.
